Meet HW+ Buddy. He lived as a backyard breeding dog. He has never been in a house. He has to learn to be a dog now, instead of someone’s commodity 😔

Foster Mom Update - Day 1

Buddy is very waggy and loves to run, but he’s very skittish and a little hyper right now. We hope that gets better quickly. Loud noises scare him, such as the outside compressor going on and off, sudden movements, etc. He’s afraid to be held. but I finally got him comfortable in my lap last night and he went to sleep off and on. He steals blankets and small rugs, and takes them out in the middle of the back yard and lays on them. He did this last night at bedtime. I gave him a new bed, and he really didn’t know what to do with it until I put blankets in it. He was afraid to come in the house. 🥲❤️

Backyard breeder dogs do not have beds. Or love. Or vet care. They are simply livestock to a breeder. Buddy sees our vet on Monday to begin his journey to good health and a forever home. Please share and donate if you can. Every penny counts! 💰
