Yesterday I had to say goodbye to my big beast baby.
❤️ Ruka ❤️ The best home security system, perfect for warming your hands on in the winter, guaranteed to kill any unwanted insect in the house, and gave our family all her love.
For her 9+ years of life, she would welcome me home from pet sitting, sniff out all the smells of other animals, get any leftover treats in my pockets and then know it was now her turn for a walk & play.
Often misunderstood because her voice was so loud, but she was really just a giant puppy at heart.
She cared the most about her family, especially her two human girls that grew up with her since they were toddlers. Lover of ice cream cones, pizza, birthday cakes, tiny squeaky balls, hugs, guarding the yard, flinging slobber, digging for hidden lacrosse balls in the snow & swimming any chance she had.
The cutest face and enormous paws ❤️
There’s a large empty space in our family now and I miss her tremendously.
