Thrilled to announce that this happy boy just left for his forever home!!

This one is quite bittersweet because 1. I could see myself keeping him and competing with him if the timing was right, and 2. he will be my last Racehorse Reimagined restart for a while.

Brew is going to a 5⭐️ home and I know he and his young human are going to do awesome things together!!

I am also happy to announce that I will be moving to Maryland in just a couple short weeks to further my education working under event rider Valerie Pride at Blue Clover Eventing. I am so excited for this transition and all the opportunities it brings.

My journey with Racehorse Reimagined has been vital to my success and I hope to return and continue working with this wonderful program some day.

I will post some updates here of my adventures in Maryland, so if you’re interested to continue following my journey, please stick around. 🙂

And just like that Herman is off to his forever home!! I am so happy that this sweet horse found his perfect family! He will be a trail horse and might dabble in some Fox hunting with his new mom!

⭐️For your consideration⭐️

JC Blazen Bluff “Herman” affectionately known as Herm the Worm.
2015 16.1 OTTB gelding

Herman is a sweet gelding with tons of personality. He loves to be doted on and is easy going.

He has a beautiful walk trot and canter with natural uphill movement. He is soft to seat and hand and moves well off leg. I would consider him more woah than go, he is certainly not going to jump off your leg, though is gaits are big.

He does great in the arena and on the trail. He’s been exposed to machinery, traffic, construction, tarps, and lots of critters like llamas, cats, dogs and more. He is very steady on the trail and will hack out on the buckle.

Herman would make an excellent dressage prospect or trail/pleasure horse. He retired from racing with a bowed tendon and made a full recovery. He has been sound every single day since he completed rehab. Though he has been cleared to go into a second career with no limitations, I would prefer he go to a flatwork home only, or very limited low level jumping, to ensure his longevity and health.

Could be suitable for a confident beginner working with a trainer.

Herman is up to date on vaccines, coggins, dental work, and farrier.

Fairly low maintenance, he lives out 24/7 and is currently barefoot, does require some grain.

Bathes, ties, loads, stands for vet and farrier!

So happy to have Herman getting back into work. 🥰

Herman sustained a tendon injury on the track (and underwent full rehab at Racehorse Reimagined) and is therefore suitable for flatwork only. He’s had a couple weeks off to address some swelling due to an isolated incident and we have been extra cautious because of his prior injury. But he’s recovering well and has remained sound the entire time which is a great sign!

I think Herman will make an awesome trail partner or potentially dance partner in dressage. If he continues to progress he will likely be ready for adoption in a month or so!

Baby Brew is coming along so well! We are finding a nice steady connection in all three gates and are unlocking some variation in our trot. He’s even got a cute baby free walk. 🥰 We have started working over jumps and I am very excited to take this guy off property in a couple months!

Brew trotting around on the buckle yesterday. 🤩 He loooves a good jog and stretch at the end of our ride!
