🐾 For all dog walkers on Weston beach:

🪝 There was a fishing competition on Weston beach yesterday and unfortunately there seems to have been some hooks left behind as we have seen some dogs with injuries.
Please be careful if walking your dog in this area and within the seaweed. It seems to be in the area around Revo.

Holiday mode is officially on! As some of you know I’m heading to Vietnam for 2 weeks on Sunday so I’ll be logging off until the 28th/29th May, any messages will be replied too then. Thankyou all for keeping me so busy this last few weeks, time to (try and) switch off😎🫶🏻🐾🇻🇳

After a surgery in November and all the complications following lovely Charlie has finally had the all clear to come back and I was so pleased to see him🥰 I think he was pretty chuffed with his trim and the tail never stopped wagging😁 welcome back Charlie🤩

POST UPDATE! Bryn has been reunited with his owner! Fantastic news. Thanks everybody for your shares, they helped tremendously.
PLEASE HELP US TO FIND BRYN. As a bit of a failed sheep dog we thought that we had found a forever home and he went to new owners on Monday afternoon in Weston super Mare. Sadly he escaped from their garden. He was then sighted yesterday in Kewstoke. I spent the day there yesterday (Tuesday) covering 15 miles on foot and driving around but sadly missed him. He was then spotted in Wick St.Lawrence in the evening but again we missed him.
At the moment he is running very scared away from people. If you see him please call me on 07964297892 and if you could take note of which direction that he is going in that would be great.

Matting.

The subject all groomers hate & all customers hate.

I WILL NOT DE-MATT ANY DOG!!!!!!!!

I will not de-Matt any dog as it causes the dog pain, it’s as simple as that. I am not here to cause any dog pain.
I treat every dog like they are my own and have nothing but love and care to each one that comes through my door.

The kindest thing for any dog when they come in severely matted is to shave underneath the matting. This may cause some nicks in the dog also depending on the tight the matts are. Unfortunately this cannot be helped.

If I was to even attempt to brush the matting out it would only cause the dog severe skin irritation on top of the pain.

Once the matting has been removed, the dog may feel slightly unusual after as the tightness and restriction of the skin would have been removed.

I will always keep with my attitude of welfare over vanity.

If your dog isn’t happy with being brushed and this is something you know you struggle with. Please keep a shorter length on the dog. Please keep to a regular 6-8 week appointment schedule!

Lastly.. please don’t blame me the groomer for the length your dog goes home with even if this appears to be every time you attend an appointment. I only will ever do what’s right for your dogs welfare.

I’m lucky to have every single one of you and to those who’s precious angels I had the pleasure to groom that are no longer with us I think of you all often, you know who you are🤍

Here is to 2023, can’t wait to see you all in the new year, I’m very blessed to have a job I love doing everyday and I thank your lovely doggies for that🥰
