We'd like to say THANK YOU to all those that donated and supported us yesterday on Give To The Max Day!

We raised $4,500... just under half way to our goal.

We had a pretty large goal this year because we took on SO many behavioral and medical cases that drained our funds along with all the boarding costs we are STILL facing.

We REALLY needed to hit that goal in order to keep saying yes to the harder ones in 2026. We simply will not be able to help as much this coming year but we will still do all that we can.

Why give to Unbreakabull on this Give To The Max Day??

Craig. Just one day from euthanasia at a LOCAL shelter but was SAVED by Unbreakabull.

After coming to rescue we let Craig decompress and learn about his new life in rescue for 6 weeks and then we sent him off to a 6 week board and train program. This cost the rescue $2,500 but it was worth it and what Craig NEEDED!!

Craig worked on his obedience, socialization and people skills. He left training being a master of his newly learned skills and he showed us all how insanely smart he was!

Craig, however does not do well with other dogs, so finding him a foster home after training was tough. Craig landed in an in-home boarding situation with one of our amazing trainers!

Craig has now been there 16 weeks and we have invested over $6,000 in Craig with his training and boarding.

Craig is a REALLY great dog.. he just needs a special home with no other pets, no small kids and someone that can advocate for him.

Craig was worth saving. No other rescues stepped up but WE DID!! We said YES!!

Why give to Unbreakabull on this Give To The Max Day?? Well because of dogs like Nubs!!

Another rescue was supposed to take him but left him behind when they seen that he had no back feet :( Here is Nubs story:

Nubs was born with no back feet and was left behind by the previous rescue who signed up to help his litter due to this disability.

We were contacted about him and of course we starting planning RIGHT away for him to join our family!!

Thanks to a WONDERFUL foster for stepping up we were able to get him to us and get him to see one of our specialized Vets. After x-rays, examination and consultation by an orthopedic surgeon we helped Nubs on his journey until he was fully grown and now Nubs has WHEELS!!!!!!

Thanks to an amazing doner of his wheels.. and so many others along the way .. Nubs will now be rollin' in style and keeping up with the big boys!!

Remember this family that was at a LOCAL shelter we SAVED from death??

On this Give To The Max Day if you needed another reason to think of us here is a great one!!

Here is their story:

We learned of a family in DESPERATE need of help yesterday at a local shelter!! 4 puppies AND mom all were surrendered and all tested POSITIVE for Parvo.. a very deadly disease.

We took action right away to secure fosters for ALL 5.. we don't leave moms behind!!

They are all currently at our vet getting the care they will need. This family is the PERFECT candidate for a new anti-body that is extremely effective in treating Parvo but comes at a hefty cost.

We'd LOVE to be able to move forward with this treatment plan for all 5 but we will be facing a bill of at least $4,000 - $5,000.

Each treatment of the anti-body is $700 plus depending on weight and there will also be supportive care at home the fosters will be administering.

All 5 were saved and have all been adopted and living their BEST lives in their forever homes!!

Our total vet bills came to just over $5,000 for the family but we didn't bat an eye at making sure they all received the VERY best care to survive!!

Because of dogs like Major who was a day away from death!

Here is the plea we got from a local shelter and we ACTED FAST to save his life and get him the care and work up with specialists at the U of MN that he needed!!

MAJOR - URGENT MEDICAL
Major is reported to be very sweet but he needs urgent medical care that the shelter is unable to provide.

“We impounded a dog, Major, yesterday who is exhibiting neurological symptoms. Per our vet: Major was bright and alert, but had some concerning neurological symptoms on presentation - he was swaying, stumbling and weak - would walk for a few steps and then laid down - his CPs were depressed x 4 and he has a head tilt to the right. A 4-5 cm linear laceration was present on the dorsolateral aspect of his left hind foot, He was tachycardic and would heavily pant when he was upright - heart and resp rates would decrease when he laid down. But his breathing still seemed somewhat labored. Biggest concern is that he is suffering from a trauma (hbc, other) or toxicity (EG, other). Also, his foot is painful and looks infected, He is an absolute sweetheart, but we are limited and only to provide supportive care. Without more information and a thorough history, it is difficult to determine his prognosis. At this time, it's considered guarded.”

Today Major is living his best life in his forever home!!

WHY give to Unbreakabull today on Give To The Max Day???

Because of dogs like Gator. Gator has a VERY sad past and we knew we had to help!!

Here is Gator's story:

"The dog was living on a chain, was not breeding the female dog so he was kicked, hit, picked up and slammed on the ground. He was starved and then they poured something all over him... I'm not sure what it is but he's got scars everywhere and a lot of wounds and they cut his ears with a pair of scissors. He's got a massive infection from all of that. Please can you guys help him?"

We said YES!! We got Gator the medical attention he needed to get him feeling better and ready for adoption!!

Gator found an AMAZING forever home with a Veteran that desperately needed a dog to save him as much as Gator needed to be saved as well. They are literally a match made in heaven and both are helping each other heal!!!

Let's keep the momentum going with another AMAZING success story!!

Steven cane to us in April of 2023 and was just one day away from being euthanized at a local shelter due to anxiety and stress. Our Director felt that in a home environment and with some training he'd show how wonderful he really was!

Unbreakabull tagged Steven and his adventure in rescue began.

Steven originally went to a foster home to decompress and work on some self coping skills before he headed off to a board and train for 10 weeks to really hone in on his obedience and socialization.

After training Steven went to his foster home and they worked REALLY hard on continuing all his training he had learned, working with him daily and helping him to gain confidence and comfortability in social settings with lots of other people.

Steven just kept on growing and showing that he was amazing and so smart and he LOVED his people and to be near them at all times!

We quickly realized Steven would be an AMAZING service dog and one of the goals we had for the year was to have one of our dogs become a service dog for someone with PTSD.

Steven was adopted by someone that needed a support dog and he went on to get his Service Dog training with his new handler. Boy did Steven kill it!!! He finished his training and is now a certified Service Dog and he has made a LIFE CHANGING difference for his new owner!! He has proven he we needed and had a job to do and we are SO PROUD we said YES when no one else would!!!

Steven was in rescue for 27 months... 27 months... but FINALLY he found his calling and is now helping someone that needed him most!!!

Let's kick off Give To The Max Day with one of our biggest success stories this year!!!

K-9 Ron came to Unbreakabull in Nov. of 2023 just ONE DAY before he was set to be euthanized at a local shelter. Some amazing volunteers seen the potential in Ron to be a K-9 and reached out to see if Unbreakabull could help!!

Our Director and his future foster went down to the shelter to meet Ron and instantly they both knew that he could NOT die and he needed to be tagged!! Unbreakabull tagged Ron right then and there and he went home the next day!!

Ron finished all his tests to qualify him to enter a police training program with -9 Protectors. Ron was a natural and he proved he was worthy!!

Being K-9 Ron is a Pit Bull it took him longer then most to find a police agency that would give him a shot to be their new narcotics K-9. Thankfully Delran Township Police Department seen what every one else seen in Ron and they decided to make him their newest member of the team!!

So far K-9 Ron is already killing it and helping to take drugs and guns off the streets and putting the bad guys in jail!!

We are SO PROUD to say Ron started his journey with Unbreakabull because we said YES when no one else would!!!!

THANK YOU!!!

We did a 16 bags of dog food challenge for Early Giving and we have gotten 14 bags so far!!!!

We are SO grateful for the support!!

TOMORROW is the most IMPORTANT day of the year for small non-profits like us!!

We will be posting stories tomorrow throughout the day of some of the dogs that we said YES to so far in 2025 that would have otherwise faced a horrible fate. WE ARE PROUD to have helped save almost 100 dogs this year so far!!

PLEASE consider us on Give To The Max Day! We are small but mighty. We take hard cases that others turn a blind eye to. We take a LOT of behavioral cases and do the work and get the training needed which has led to SO MANY successful adoptions for dogs that otherwise were set to die.

We have BIG dreams and plans for 2026 and Give To The Max Day will be the BIGGEST part for us being able to make those dreams and plans happen!!!
