Meet Lalo - I am hoping to find a family with a big yard so I can run off my energy but also love going on walks/runs so that I can sniff the neighborhood to see who’s been on my walking routes. I do well with other people that come over and always enjoy the extra attention and scratching that I get. Dear veterans,

On this Memorial Day, we would like to express our deepest gratitude and appreciation for your sacrifice, bravery, and unwavering commitment to our nation. Your service has ensured our safety, freedom, and the values we hold dear. We honor and remember the fallen heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice, and we stand in solidarity with those who have served and continue to serve.

Today, we also reflect on the remarkable bond that has developed between veterans and Pit Bulls over the years. Pit Bulls, known for their loyalty, strength, and resilience, have become steadfast companions to many veterans. These remarkable dogs possess an innate ability to provide comfort, support, and love to their human partners, making a significant impact on their lives.

Pit Bulls have shown time and again that they possess the same qualities that are admired in our veterans: courage, loyalty, and an unwavering commitment to protect and serve. They have become an integral part of the healing process for veterans struggling with physical and mental challenges, helping them find solace, companionship, and a renewed sense of purpose.

Through various programs and initiatives, Pit Bulls have been trained to serve as therapy dogs, emotional support animals, and service animals for veterans with disabilities. Their presence brings immense joy, stability, and comfort to the lives of those who have bravely served our country.
