Be part of something special this Saturday at Big Springs Park! Our Brooke's Place booth at the dog show will offer unique, handmade items, with all proceeds supporting the care of foster kittens. Join us at 10am and help make a difference! Brooke's place 🥰😍🐱🐈and come on out and support the caldwell county animal shelter by entering the dog show. They will have dogs available for adoption! Here are just a few of the many items we will have available 😀 we have lanyards, phone charms, keychains, pens, necklaces, bracelets, hand painted mini pots, and Barbara has made over 300 pairs of earrings. We've been working hard for our foster babies in between taking care of kittens 😸 You can also drop of donations of food and litter at this time.

The one and only mouse was just adopted! I'm gonna miss her! She has definetly left her imprint on me. She has been adopted by a family that is going to love her forever. She even has her very own kids. 🥰

Early morning breakfast shenanigans with the foster kittens - this is why I do what I do. It's the love we share for each other. All these babies started their new lives here at 2 weeks old and have unique personalities. I just love them all and I hope each and everyone of them find the best homes.

Introducing Demetri and Anastasia. Demetri is and approximately 4 month old male orange and white tabby. His sister Anastasia is 4 month old female calico. Both are absolutely the sweetest kittens. They do well with children and are litter box trained. They have been parvo tested and given flea meds. Both of they're adoption fees are sponsored. Which means there spay/neuter and rabies vaccination are at no cost to you and the adoption fee is waived. They are approved for indoor homes only. Up next is the one and only Mouse! She is so sweet and playful. Mouse is the sister to Charlie and Kelly. She has been with is since she was two weeks old. She is very socialized and use to getting bathed on a regular basis. She is approximately 9 to 10 weeks old. She has the most beautiful tabby/bengal markings. Her adoption fee is 80.00 which covers her spay and rabies vaccine when she turns 6 months. Update on Mr. Charlie! Charlie is doing amazing . I check him everyday to make sure he is still using the bathroom on his own . He still takes longer to p*e in the litter box but we are just happy he is healing and able to continue a normal life. He is still as sweet as ever. When he is ready to be placed in his forever home, his adoption fee will be sponsored by Alexis Aldrich . Charlie is approximately 9 to 10 wks old now. Sir Nicolas ( tabby) was adopted today. He is going to a great home! He will be living with a Brooke's place alumni Danny from the Grease litter. Sir Nicolas is the brother to our other two sponsored kittens Anastasia and Demetri. Demetri and Anastasia are also both fully sponsored. This means that both of their spay/neuter and rabies are covered and there is no adoption cost. They must be indoor kittens only. I know people complain that I don't give them away for free but that is not why we are here. We are here to reduce the population problem, not add to it. We have saved over 120 kittens since February of this year. Please if you get a "free" kitten do the right thing and get them fixed. Nothing is ever free if you take care of it properly. If you dump kittens on someone's property you are the problem. By the way it is also a felony to dump animals including kittens. I'm sorry if it sounds harsh but it's the truth. I get so many messages a day about people dumping kittens on people's property it's beyond ridiculous. I do this out of my own home, on my own property. I can only take so many kittens at a time. We are always full because this a huge problem everywhere. We are only two people. Everyone I talk to that rescues is full, fosters are full, shelters are full everywhere! We are tired, we are exhausted and we run on donations. All of our monetary donations go on our luna account. I currently have 14 foster kittens. Out of the 14 I have 6 of then are bottle babies. If you cant adopt foster. If you can't foster, donate. If you cant donate share our posts. Thank you and have a great day 😀

UPDATE TO POST! We just had a lovely couple step up to sponsor all 3 of these babies! All 3 adoptions are sponsored 🥰❤️🙏Through know fault of they're own or ours these 3 kittens have found their way to us. They have been parvo tested, de fleaed, and are litter box trained. If anyone would like to sponsor adoption fees it would really help us out in getting them spayed and neutered. The larger tabby sibling will be neutered on Sept 4th. We have named them Nicolas(male 4 to 5 month old )grey tabby, Demetri Orange and white tabby male (4 to 5 months) and Anastasia Calico (4 to 5 months ). They are all super sweet.

It has certainly been a busy day at Brooke's place. We bathed six kittens, did laundry, and bottle-fed the kittens all day. I'm ready for bed and it's not even five o'clock yet! Here's a cute video of our 3 wk old kittens. They have been freshly bathed and are so fluffy!
