“While taking my recycling bin to the curb, I inadvertently left the back gate open, and unbeknownst to me dog decided to go for a romp around the neighbourhood. I went back indoors, into my office and returned to work. About an hour later, I received a phone call and email asking if Gemma was my dog as they had picked up a stray wandering, shivering in the neighbourhood. I was sick as I searched my house and couldn't find her.
The person who found her happened to live six houses up the street and took her in.
