As a Certified Dog Trainer and Behavior Specialist, and life long owner of dogs, I enjoy working with ALL breeds. I have 20 yrs of experience working with dogs in shelters and have fostered and helped find homes for many dogs. Assistant course online from FMCC, and have references available. I was a volunteer for the emergency C.A.R.T. for Fulton, Montgomery, and Hamilton counties. Please feel free to contact me with your training needs. I look forward to helping you train your pet!

The month of august is national CLEAR THE SHELTER EVENT & each week we will be introducing some of our Longest residents here at LCAS.

So now everyone we would like to introduce you all to LCAS's Longest resident ASPEN! We would love for you all to come by & meet her. She has been here at the shelter since August 2022! Aspen is fully vetted, current on all vaccines, microchipped, & her adoption fee has been WAIVED! Aspen is patiently awaiting to meet her potential new FAMILY.

Creek had his first night of sleeping outside the box. He started out in bed with me Judge and Jury, and I woke up to him sleeping on the futon like this. 😂😍
He was perfectly behaved loose in the house! Good boy Creek!!

For the month of August, each new client I receive from a referral gets the referring person a free 30 minute brush up lesson or you can have it donated to a licensed rescue/shelter of your choice!

Enjoying some sunshine today with this handsome guy! Marty is one of my “pop in” pups. I stop in the afternoon M-F while his mom works to let him out to potty, give lives and cookies!

Learning self control!! Koda gets excited and has a hard time focusing on his manners, so we play to teach!! He gets amped up and then has to instantly get it together and go into a command. This method works great for him as he’s not super food motivated but LOVES his toys, praise, and the interaction! WIN!!
His remote collar… he works on vibration, not shock.
(Please excuse the remodeling work on the house)

I was asked an honest concern….” Is it worth it” when sending their dog to me for stay and train for a week. “Do you really think you can accomplish anything in 5 days”? I was not offended, I actually love the honesty, the straightforward conversation!! I said yes, I do think it’s worth, and yes I can accomplish some results in 5 days. Well the #1 thing sought was “ load up” and quickly followed up with not jumping up and loose leash walking. This pup is a rockstar…. He’s learning fast, and I’m super proud of him! I love my job, the dogs, and many of my clients become friends! Best job ever!!!!!
