Rawhide toys ARE NOT SAFE!!

* Your dog can choke from pieces that are too large and lodge in the esphagus.

* Chunks that are swallowed DO NOT DIGEST!! Once a large chunk enters the stomach or intestines, it can block the intestine creating an emergency situation. Sometimes, abdominal surgery is needed to remove them from the stomach or intestines. If it isn’t resolved, a blockage can lead to death.

* Salmonella or E. coli contamination is possible. Even humans can be at risk when coming into contact with these bacteria on rawhide treats.

* Some dogs are simply sensitive or allergic to rawhide or other substances used in their manufacture. This can cause problems, including diarrhea.

Just don't pay attention to the holiday and store hype to sell their product!

Just don't. Dogs don't care about the colorful colors or Christmas shapes. They do care about not choking to death or suffering from an intestine blockage because leather does not digest. Give your dog a wonderful, healthy Christmas! 🎄🎄🎄
