Digging up Redfoot egggs
These recently imported captive born young adult Redfoots I brought in are laying eggs like crazy! Had a nice surprise while digging up one clutch. #tortoiselover #tortoises #reptilelover #reptilekeeper #reptilebreeder
🐢Radiated hatchling chowing away. I’m amazed they eat as much as they do at such a small size✈️📦.

Florida ground hatchling season. Another naturally hatched redfoot found with some minor shell flaking after raining half the day. Easily treated with a couple days of neosporin, athlete’s foot cream, even petroleum jelly will get rid of it. #tortoise #tortoises #tortoiselover #redfoottortoise #turtlesofinstagram #turtlebreeder #turtlesofinstagram #reptile #reptiles #reptilesofinstagram
Adult Redfoots are settling in nicely and getting plane tickets as we speak ✈️📦 #redfoot #redfootsofinstagram #chelonoidiscarbonaria #tortoise #tortoises #tortoisesofinstagram #tortoisesofig #tortoiselover #tortoisekeeper #tortoisebreeder #reptile #reptiles #reptilesofinstagram #reptilelover #reptilebreeder
🐢Central American Ornate Wood Turtles. Easy to keep, stay small, inexpensive, and eat food in water like an aquatic turtle. Or lettuce on land like a tortoise. Similar care to a box turtle. Love these ravenous eaters. Feeding on blood worms.
🐢Nice little surprise while pulling weeds around the Hypo Redfoot enclosure.
First Florida chicken turtle hatchling. Naturally hatched on its own in the tub. This is the first aquatic species I ever purchased about 18 years ago.
Some nice four inch Euorpeon farm raised Russian tortoises are chowing down on greens. They have been preventatively dewormed and are doing great! Thriving and eating non stop.
🐢Happy hump day everybody. And be safe tomorrow for the 4th of July! 💥🇺🇸
🐢🍒Hatchling Brazilian cherries are enjoying lunch.
This is how easy it is to get Mata Matas to feed on frozen fish off tongs. First try with this one. I prefer to feed them live, to give them some stimulation, but some ask me if they get one can it feed on frozen fish.
This little tiny 1.5 inch Vietnamese Leaf turtle hatchling inhaled this entire worm.
Raspberries were a hit this morning! Fly River Turtles love their fruits and greens. Variety is key for all species.
🐢This baby giant Aldabra tortoise has a really nice high domed shell! You can see large white growth lines coming in between its scutes. It has been eating lots of greens and is growing through a nice growth spurt.
🐢South Florida is an oven right now and not seeing much rain. Hoses are on a lot. These Brazilian Cherryheads are enjoying some cactus 🌵🍒
Dinner is served. They give me a look like alright now-go away!
Beautiful captive born baby green tree monitor 🦎
USA captive hatched Mata Mata Turtle. Only about 3.5 weeks old now. Its appetite is phenomenal. I did NOT HATCH it, The mother was a gravid import from Suriname last year. Purchased by a friend of mine not knowing she was gravid. She laid some eggs immediately after going in her pond. 3 of 11 eggs hatched, which I would say is still a success.
🐢🍊Pure Bolivian Redfoot with some stunning marbling coming in
