1. In medieval England, saying the word "rabbit" on a boat was believed to bring bad luck. Fishermen and sailors would avoid mentioning rabbits to ward off any ill fortune.

2. Just like dogs, rabbits can run in circles or make quick dashes called "zoomies" when they’re very excited or happy.

3. Unlike some herbivores that occasionally eat insects, rabbits stick exclusively to plants. They’re true vegetarians—no animal protein for them!

4. A rabbit's teeth grow continuously, about 2-3 mm per week! To keep their teeth from growing too long and hindering their ability to eat, they need constant access to hay and branches to gnaw on.

5. The "White Rabbit" from Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, written in 1865, became a literary icon. The rabbit, constantly "running late," embodies the Victorian fascination with time and absurdity.
