The rumors are true! Stokes Pharmacy to Offer Legal FIP Treatment in the US Available June 1st. Stokes Pharmacy has formed an exclusive partnership with the Bova Group to offer a U.S.-made compounded oral treatment for feline infectious peritonitis (FIP). This treatment is supported by Bova’s unique drug formula, which has been utilized in clinical research studies across the globe and is currently in use in the UK and Australia.

Unfortunately, nearly 100% of all community cats that enter a shelter will be euthanized because they're traumatized and show behaviors of being not adoptable by the general population.
The best thing you can do for any community cat is to Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) which is the most humane option and it also controls the cat population.

February is Spay & Neuter Awareness Month! Be sure to get those boys neutered before they’re responsible for dozens of kittens. There’s a reason cat te**es are called “troublepuffs” in some circles. The majority of nuisance cat behaviors can be tracked back to unaltered males: fighting, yowling, wandering, and SPRAYING. Removing their powderpuffs also prevents them from developing testicular cancer later in life.
And don’t forget, female cats across the country will soon be going into heat (for those of us in warmer climates, we’re already experiencing this!), so now is the perfect time to get them spayed.

2021 was rough, but we made it happen, thanks to all of your support! All the volunteers and cats at LICK wish you a happy, safe, and healthy New Year. 🥂
Welcome little Piglet to the LICK family. This little boy was found abandoned, so we have him in our care. He’s currently being bottle fed and cared for, but will be available for adoption when he’s old enough. If you’re interested in being a foster or a bottle feeder for kittens without mamas like this, please send us a message!
Meet Caspurr. He’s a sweet boy who was dumped in the middle of Pleasantville and the vet estimates he’s young, probably less than 2 years old. Recently neutered and vaccinated. He’s super loving and will be your cuddle cat. Poor baby is FIV positive, so he needs to be an indoor-only guy.
