I hope you all had a merry Christmas! 🎄🎁✨ Sugar had two beautiful bunnies this round. The first is a VC broken cream buck, which is a pretty rare color here at .rabbitry! This broken sable point buck is TOO CUTE! And he is available. 😀 For those who aren’t familiar with the term “broken”, it means that the coat color is not solid, but broken up with patches of white. The contrast is beautiful and striking and I breed for this quality intentionally. Unlike solids, no two brokens have *exactly* the same pattern, which makes for a one of kind bunny. 💫 Do you prefer solid or broken coat color, or favor them equally?

Thank you to everyone who supported .rabbitry this year! You may have adopted a bunny or two, used our boarding or grooming services, bought fresh cut dahlias, tried our homegrown vegetables, or purchased dahlia tubers or vegetable starts for your own garden. You allow us to continue to provide beautiful bunnies, quality service, and garden bounty that bring joy! Because of you I can stay home and homeschool our kids (and help put braces on their teeth!). We appreciate you!

Daisy, out of Poppy and Sweet William, was our first grow-out, and is arguably the best-typed rabbit in our rabbitry! It took her a long time to figure out how to mate and get pregnant (she just wanted to stay friends 😂), but goodness, it was worth the wait. Look at Daisy and Daffodil’s son! He is 8.5 weeks old and ready to bless your life with cuteness and kisses. 😘

It’s been quiet around here lately because someone very special to us passed away last week: my son’s bunny, Spice. It’s been hard on us. We miss him! A low-key, patient bunny, he wasn’t picky about how he was held. He was always up for an adventure, whether in a harness hopping around the property (before RHVD2), playing in piles of leaves, or being carried around and shown things that my son thought he would like to see. Spice had a signature hop that would make us smile. A companion to my son during some hard times, my son lamented moments after his passing, “He understood me!” Spice is irreplaceable; there is no bunny quite like him. Sire to dozens of bunnies with Sugar, please comment below if you have one of his offspring! In celebration of his life I will be sharing photos of him in my stories. 🖤🖤🖤
