Breeder of quality pedigreed German Shepherd Dogs & Jack Russell Terriers in Taree, NSW, Australia When we were kids, we always had animals.

When I was a small child, we had a cross breed called Patches. From there my father brought home a German Shepherd who we named the traditional GSD name Sheba. We were in love with the breed. Upon moving to Taree, Dad purchased a GSD bitch from Anne Bertram of Rainbow Flat, Berchil Sarah. This was a total surprise to the family. utiful Grey Sable Girl. A couple of years later Dad decided to obtain his Breeders Prefix "Bernloch". This name was a combination of his two favourite racehorses, Bernborough and Tulloch. Dad, with the help of Anne Bertram, bred two litters of mainly sable babies. One of these I kept, Bernloch Chloe, and she was my introduction to the show scene. Upon Dad's passing I took up his prefix and have bred only a few German Shepherd litters in the last 15 years. I have now introduced Jack Russell Terriers to the mix as they are the most adorable little people, and really are a big dog in a little dogs body. We are a kennel that breeds for temperament first and foremost. I want our puppies to be loving little individuals who will give their owners/carers a life time of love and enjoyment. We have a responsibility as breeders to ensure that only the best traits are passed on from generation to generation. We have established an impressive base of bloodlines to produce what we think will be exceptional puppies for show, obedience and most importantly family companions. I would like to thank Lorraine King, Kerry and Sharon from Moonmagik Kennels, Lee & John Martens, Laurelle Reilly and Kathy Triffitt for the beautiful animals that we have purchased from them and that stand as the foundations of Bernloch Kennels.

Our beautiful Diaablo x Lotti babies have all left for their new homes today. Have wonderful lives little ones. We are so proud of this litter it was a lovely combination of bloodlines.

Fun times with the babies this afternoon when it started to cool down. These Diaablo x Lotti kids are 7 weeks old. I honestly don’t know where the time has gone. One week until they meet their new families 😢

The Lotti x Diaablo babies are 5 weeks old today. Omg they are growing so fast. Celebrations included chicken necks and nail cutting. Guess which one they preferred.

Great news today. Our beautiful Bernloch Carrlotta (Jarrahhaus Doomeekwik x Bernloch Wanda) being confirmed in whelp to the stunning young dog Aust Ch Cinderhof Diaablo (Dingo Di Casa Mary x Freinhauf Havoc). Puppies due middle of November.

Today we showed at the GSDL Champ Show in Sydney under Judge John Lijffijt at the GSDL Champ Show in Sydney. Bernloch Dolce (Cinderhof Raffaa x Bernloch Reba) finished a very respectable 2nd out of 8 in her class. So happy with her performance. She also had a couple of Junior Handler classes where she kept her handlers Lexi and Ava on their toes. Great work girls. Thanks as always to Kylie and Lorraine 🙏
