After seeing we decided to get back into rescuing again but this time with the intention of finding a pitbull type dog in the shelter who wasn’t “viral” and also partner up with a different rescue each time. The first rescue we asked was ! We respect and admire Jill and her team so much and we were very happy when they agreed to work with us! The dog we chose was, Biggie. He was ready to go. He didn’t need extensive rehab. He could go to any adoption event and didn’t need a trainer to handle him. has a knack for finding these dogs in the shelter and much to delight this was the dog they were hoping was going to get picked. With that being said, our first SOLO Project dog has been adopted by ! We were over the moon when we found out the news. Happy tails, Biggie!

For those that don’t know SOLO stands for “Saving Overlooked Lives Openheartedly” . We will share about it in our stories and we can’t wait to ask our next rescue for the next Solo Project Dog!

Diary of a Foster Dog: Day 80

This past Sunday I got to walk the red carpet at . You don’t really understand how special walking on that red carpet is until you’ve walked the cold cement at the shelter into a cold kennel. Ever since came to see me in the shelter my life has done a complete 180. In the past 80 days I’ve met good humans, cool dogs, had good meals and had good sleep. But the coolest thing of all is that I have a mom and dad now! If this were a book the title of the next chapter would be called “Happily Ever After”. This is officially the last entry of my Foster Dog Diary because I’m adopted now! I get to have the “best day ever” every day for the rest of my life. says that every dog deserves to break at least one human’s heart before they leave this earth. How lucky am I that I get two.

Diary of a Foster Dog: Day 10-Good news is I gained 3 pounds! The not so good news is I have a bad tummy and a little blood in my stool. My foster mom took me to work with her where gave me fluids. I came home and hung out with the other tiny human last night. I think his name is Camden. I will go back today for more. Despite the fact that I don’t feel great my spirits are still high and we should totally celebrate the fact I’m a little heavier ! Also, thank you to everyone who donated to my care. We raised so much my rescue doesn’t need to ask for anymore at the time. ❤️-Logan

The humans here are fattening me up. The pretty blonde loves me. If I were human I think she would leave the tiny brown human for me. Also, on a random note, I hope one day the humans understand that it’s not them giving us dogs second chances it’s the other way around. And dogs give humans a million of them.

A dog doesn’t shouldn’t have to be “viral” to be rescued . There are so many dogs who are ready to go and check off many boxes that will make adapting them into your home much easier. If you’re looking for a dog, go to your shelter. Talk to the volunteers. They know more than anyone so ask them questions! They’ll be happy to help! Biggie has only been here a few days but he came in ready. We are just rounding out a few edges! After we fill out his dating profile he will be up for adoption through !

SOLO PROJECT

Yesterday we met @outtathecage at Weat Vley Shelter and picked our first SOLO Project Dog! It was a very tough decision but in the end @blues_babes picked the dog that checked off all the boxes and needed training more than they needed rehab. And to our surprise, she picked Jill’s favorite dog! Can anyone guess what his name is by the music? 😂 #ipittythebull

Aside from dogs and a few cats, we have also fostered possums and snakes. And then last night this happened. 😂 Everyome welcome, Lucky. 😍 #ipittythebull

To all the dogs we loved in the past. To all the dogs that we love in the present. And to the ones who we will love in the future.
