Racking system upgrade.

So this is part 1 of my upgrade.

The old unit has gone and been replaced by this system.

5x 30 30 60 tanks on the bottom
6x in the middle
And on the top will be 3x 60x30x60 custom made enclosures for some new species I have my eye on.

There is an electric sprayer bottom right, and a fogger top left, and it's all lit by UV and LED controlled by timers and Alexa.

Question- would you paint the frame if you were me?

Toying with the idea of paining it black to make the greens stand out. Thoughts?

Created a little paludarium as a test. Going to take it apart again tomorrow because I made so many mistakes. Useful to know that I can still remember the basics tho.

My 3yo grandson created this enclosure interior using ZooMed excavator clay, and Albie the hoggie is enjoying the enrichment.

Diversifying slightly. I seem to get through a lot of isopods in my tanks, so I decided to start a couple of colonies to keep my tanks topped up. Working well so far. And these giant oranges are surprisingly big!

These isopods are so fascinating to watch!

Found a chap selling these at the last reptile show and decided to start my own culture. Red springtails. They're doing well feeding off yeast in a RUB in my reptile room.

My hognose wouldn't eat her pinkie so I put it in the Giant Orange isopod enclosure. Can you believe it?
