Good morning! We have mentioned how dog food is scarce. Anymore it is a weekly routine on trying to find the next bounty.
One option is The Greater Good. We can purchase pallets of food for .15 a pound. We usually can get 1 to 3 pallets every few weeks and your donations help tremendously! Last Sunday was a little brutal. The weather was cold and dreary. We needed to get close to 200 residents fed before the weather took a deeper dive. So we got the coffee going through our veins, bundled up, and headed out. As we open the container, there sat the last full pallet of food. Approx 800# which would all be fed out. 800# of One Pound bags stuffed in individual containers, with lids taped on and wrapped in plastic wrap. Our immediate thought is, "Oh my gosh! This is going to take all day!" Then we just had to chuckle. We had food to feed! And THAT was a GREAT moment! We did a little video so that we could go back and reflect on just how important all of the animals are to us. When I did this, I did not notice Rod's smile. This says it all.
We thank you for your donations as every little morsel counts!
Hoyt is another forgotten. He started this life in a good place with a veteran who loved him. His owner lost his home and Hoyt went to live with a friend. Months later, Hoyt's old owner went by to check on him and discovered he was severely injured, unable to walk and in horrific physical condition. The friend, who lived in an upstairs apartment claimed he has no idea what happened to him. What we do know is Hoyt was kept on the balcony like patio furniture. Whether he fell off the balcony or received his debilitating injury by physical abuse, we will never know. Even though this is so heartbreaking to even fathom, we are focused on how to make his life better NOW, TODAY, as Hoyt teaches us how to enjoy each day and everything it brings.
Please consider helping us continue our mission by donating!
George was rescued in 2019. He was convicted of loitering, breaking and entering, assault, chasing pony girls with intent, and escape.
Originally looking at being put down for his behavior, because of your support, we could bring him to the ranch!
Rod has worked with him and he has come a long way and will do anything for a graham cracker treat!
This is because of You! Thank you for your support!
"Mom, what is Giving Tuesday? Do we get presents?!?!?"
How can we ignore these little faces! 🐶
We are reaching out today asking for your help to continue our journey. Your "presents" will go to each animal in our care for vet care, food, straw, treats, toys and anything else they need because it is all about them!

We have a very serious situation folks. This was the last Flavor Ice Pop! Sams club is out of them so I will be out on a search for more tomorrow! Most important thing, we can't let Chumlee know!
The dogs would love it if you could donate toward their special treats!
New arrival, Hoyt.
He came to us from a displaced veteran that could no longer care for him.
He has a spinal injury that we will work to rehabilitate.
We had picked her up before the owner realize she was gone that’s why we have protocols in place she’s back home and her mama is happy
Come on people! There's got to be someone out there interested in Pony! Border Collie, neutered. Gets along with other dogs. Loves water, duh. Unknown on cats but he doesn't seem to have a mean bone in his body. This kid will be great to train! Here's the link to our application. Well? What are you waiting far?!?!
