5 week old rat babies

Kittens at 5 weeks old....these are the boys....just seperated from mom and sisters, one of each colour in the litter....they are busy busy little bees....and love jumping on the camera!

have been so busy with cleaning and building new cages that i didnt get a chance to take update photos on the baby ratties so here is a video #week3 This is my favourite stage. they are miniature versions of mom and dad.....they opened their eyes last week but have only just started venturing out of the nest a few days ago.....they have started exploring everywhere and playing with each other.....but mom is catching them and bringing them back to the nest....i guess she wants them to stay babies forever. They are the cutest little munchkins❤️

Gerbils Singing

When it gets really quiet at night..... when the gerbils are all cuddled up together....down in their tunnels the parents and babies sing to each other.....i was finally able to record it...theres a bit of rustling in the bedding in the background.
