Meet Lady, a petite and pretty little lady with a voice ready to serenade you! At about one year old, she was found as a stray, but quickly understood she was in good hands and never put up a fuss. Though new to human companionship, Lady warmed up quickly and now loves to explore while happily telling you all about her adventures. She's also a cuddle bug who loves to snuggle up right by your side. With her big green eyes that seem to gaze at you knowingly, Lady is a sweet and intuitive companion. She would thrive in a home with other young cat(s), as she’s still very much a playful kitten at heart.

Changes in a family’s lives cant be forecasted which is why Kitten Angels makes the agreement to take back our adoptees when they need to be rehomed.
Thats what happened to our friend Lobo. This quiet lovable 6 year old boy is now looking for his new home. He has done well in the past with other cats in in foster care even tho he was the only animal in his recent home.
He is currently available at the PetSmart in Latham.
Over the weekend his brother Ollie got adopted and now its time for Kanga to find his forever home. This sweet 4 month old boy is an absolute purring machine who loves adventure. He's currently in residence at the PetSmart in Latham. Stop out to our adoption event this weekend from 11-2 on Saturday
We received an update on a pair recently adopted from Amsterdam Petsmart!
Coco (now Lucky Lava or Lucky for short) and Lucy (now Luna) have been enjoying their temporary safe space in the bathroom as they acclimate to their new home.
Their new mom writes:
"They are so comfortable with the kids and sooo loved!!! Luna and Lucky are two very happy baby kitties!"

Our shy but sweet former mama cat, Silverbell, is still waiting for her turn to be adopted! 💕
Silverbell, born 4-1-2022, was very pregnant when she was rescued on 12-19-2023. She gave birth to her final litter just four days later! She’d had probably two other litters of kittens and was living on the rural streets. She is very shy, a typical “fraidy cat” but very sweet and not aggressive at all. Once she trusts you , she will purr while you pet her. She doesn’t like to be picked up yet-she’s just very scared. Silverbell gets along with other cats and would do best in a quiet home with another cat for company. She may hide a lot at first, but she will eventually come to trust her adopter. If you are looking for a shy, sweet companion, please give this former mother cat a chance.

The beautiful Princess Diana is waiting to grace your home with her splendor!👑
Sweet little girl! Princess Diana is condered a senior cat as she was born 5/5/2013, but she is a very beautiful and playful lady. She loves to be pet under her chin and on the back of her neck. She never gets tired of playing! Princess Diana was surrendered by her owners after being in their home for 11 years, poor baby.😿
Princess Diana, like any older cat, has her limits. If she is done being played with and being pet, she will let you know. Princess Diana likes to nibble, but then she will lick you.
Princess Diana would be best in a quiet environment with older children and no dogs. She has been around other cats, but I think she would prefer to be loved all by herself. Princess Diana deserves a loving family. Although she is older, she still has a lot of s***k and so much love to give.💕

Lacey came to Kitten Angels after being rescued off the streets! She was timid and scared a couple months ago. After being spayed and fully vetted she went right to a Glenmont foster to help socialize her in a home.
Lacey is now so friendly, sweet and playful, with manageable spiciness. She was found by her forever family this week! She went home to her forever family tonight!! No other cats or dogs at this time ensures she will get all the attention and love she deserves! Cheers to a much better life Lacey! We are so happy for you! Congratulations to all! 😺💖
‼️Injured cat needs help!‼️
One of our amazing fosters received a desperate call for help yesterday from a friend. Her friend told her about this poor, sweet, friendly cat that was found outside with a bandage wrapped far too tightly on her tail, a flea collar that was so tight it left marks when removed, and she's clearly pregnant! Her former owners no longer wanted her, so they left her outside unspayed. Nobody wanted her, so she's been left to fend for herself the best she could.
Our foster immediately contacted Judie, then rushed to pick up this poor sweet girl. Our foster told us it was clear to see the bandage had been on this poor girl for quite some time. It was so tight and stuck to her skin! The smell was horrendous! She slowly and carefully snipped away the bandage to assess the situation. We're all in tears over what this poor innocent girl has suffered with and for such a long time! We have named her Gloria.
We were able to get Gloria seen by the vet today where we've been confronted with a situation that is every rescuer's worst nightmare. Gloria needs surgery immediately to remove her tail. Without this surgery Gloria will not survive. Unfortunately, the kittens will not survive the surgery and anesthesia, so the tough decision had to be made to forfeit the unborn kittens to save Gloria's life.
This lifesaving surgery and aftercare for Gloria will be quite costly and this is where we need YOUR help! We desperately need to raise funds for the surgery and care of this sweet innocent girl.

Our captivating girl Krystal is waiting to give you ALL the kisses! 💕
Krystal (DOB 6/1/2023) was rescued from my yard after I noticed her on my feral cam coming all hours of the night to eat. She did not seem feral, so I trapped her, and I was right! Krystal is a stray, short hair tabby just around a year old. She is now so very sweet and loving with a fun and feisty side. Once she trusts you and is comfortable with you, she loves to be held and pet and gives kisses. Krystal loves to play! She absolutely loves her slurpy treats, which she gets every night. This will be the key to bonding with her! As with most cats, she will be a bit timid at first and try to hide but, if given her own private space for a week or 2 and a little time to acclimate to you and her new surroundings, she will make a wonderful and loving pet. It didn't take her long at all to love and trust me.
I have slowly introduced Krystal to my cats just to see how she would do. She wasn't a fan at first, but became curious, and then started going up sniffing trying to give kisses. If properly introduced, in a slow manner and the right way, she will be good with another cat.
Krystal has a bold and feisty side. When I go to leave her room she has no problem whacking my legs to tell me not to leave. Then I pick her up and she gives kisses. She loves to give kisses! 🥰
With a little patience, and all done right, she will make a wonderful addition to your home.

I would like to introduce you to Faith. She is a beautiful senior cat in need of a loving home. A home that will provide special care to this special needs kitty.
Unfortunately, Faith is blind. Due to her disability, she was almost crushed by a bus. Thankfully, a kind gentleman saw her and was able to stop the bus in time.
Faith was recently assessed by a veterinarian and it was determined she can hear to a certain degree, she responded to loud clapping, but she doesn’t respond to normal voices talking to her. The doctor said she still had good quality of life, she's just blind and hard of hearing.
Although she is limited, she is super affectionate, loves to be petted and will rub up against you. Faith is truly grateful for human contact. She is the perfect companion. She will shower you with unconditional love every chance she gets.
She will need a forever home that will keep her indoors at all times, since she is defenseless outdoors. Preferably, her new home can have all her needs met in the same area; bedding, food bowl, water bowl and litter box. We think she'd be ok with other older, calm cats.

Midge and Basil have been waiting so patiently for a home of their own.💗
These sweet kittens are just under one year old and are ready for their forever home. After a brief store break, they are both back at Glenmont Petsmart. Midge (Female) is black and white, and Basil (Male) is all black. They are shy at first, but they love pets, snacks, and playtime. Midge is the braver of the two, she may be a little skittish when you first get to know her, but if you take it slow, she’ll be purring in your lap in no time. Basil is more cautious, but sometimes he just needs to watch his sister first to see how it’s done.
A quiet, calm environment, with patient humans, is what they need to help them thrive in their new home. Midge and Basil are a bonded pair that need each other for confidence, and therefore they must be adopted together. They are so loving, and so playful, and whoever gives them a chance will be gaining two wonderful additions to their family. Poor little Tommy!☹️
Out of the 10 kittens brought in by one of our wonderful fosters all were adopted but one, sweet little Tommy.
Tommy is a little over 4 months old. He's a gorgeous tabby boy with spots going down his back instead of the usual dark stripe. Tommy is playful, yet so sweet. He'll climb right onto your lap when he wants love and attention. He's a gentle boy and is ok with being held.
Tommy's fun-filled 3 week stay at Amsterdam Petsmart came to an end today, but he's still available for adoption! He's back with his wonderful foster mommy until we can find his furever family.

Kitten Angels is a non profit, volunteer organization. We rely solely on fostering, volunteers, donations, and adoption fees. An adoption fee of $175 per cat ($350 per pair) must be paid at the time of adoption by either cash or check. All of our adoptable animals are assessed in foster homes, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed or neutered and tested for FeLV/FIV. Medical records will be released with the adopted pet.

Gorgeous tabby lady Lilly just arrived at Amsterdam Petsmart! Lilly is approximately 3 years old and absolutely stunning! She has such gorgeous colors and markings AND she's an absolute sweetheart!💖
Lilly enjoys being pet, getting head scritches, and snuggling with you while you're sitting or laying down. She also quite playful and enjoys chasing the laser light, playing with feather wands, and playing in her tunnel toy.
Lilly is ok with respectful, cat savvy children. She'll also ok with other friendly cats and tolerates respectful dogs.

Portia and Yahtzee are not from the same litter, but when they met they became best friends! Portia, the larger female, was found alone as a very young kitten under a porch. Yahtzee was the runt of a litter of 4 born in a rescuers home. Yahtzee is a bit smaller but very healthy and growing fast. They are both about 4 months old and a bonded pair! Two normal happy playful kittens, who became fast friends from the day they met! Portia and Yahtzee are so entertaining to watch as they play and cuddle together. They love to stalk and chase each other, they're very curious about everything, and when they are tired and/or want attention will find a lap or two to snooze on. They follow the foster around the house and like meeting the other felines in the house. They're just a really sweet pair! Four month old Dusty is very friendly and affectionate, loves to play, pets and scritches, being brushed, basically any attention. She likes to snuggle and will curl up in your lap purring up a storm, or jump for the flying feathers at any moment. Dusty has an adventurous and curious temperament, and she should be able to fit in with new situations, with careful introduction. She has no problems with using the litter box, and is good at using her scratching pad. She has been known to follow her humans around, too. Dusty was born outdoors to a feral mother, and while her siblings had to be trapped, Dusty let us pick her up to start a new life. We appreciate you and ALL our wonderful fosters and volunteers!😺💖 Meet Midge and Basil! These sweet kittens are just under one year old and are ready for their forever home. After a brief store break, they are both back at Glenmont Petsmart. Midge (Female) is black and white, and Basil (Male) is all black. They are shy at first, but they love pets, snacks, and playtime. Midge is the braver of the two, she may be a little skittish when you first get to know her, but if you take it slow, she’ll be purring in your lap in no time. Basil is more cautious, but sometimes he just needs to watch his sister first to see how it’s done. A quiet, calm environment, with patient humans, is what they need to help them thrive in their new home. Midge and Basil are a bonded pair that need each other for confidence, and therefore they must be adopted together. They are so loving, and so playful, and whoever gives them a chance will be gaining two wonderful additions to their family. ADOPTED!🎊 ‼️ FRICK & FRACK UPDATE ‼️ Four year old brothers Frick and Frack were reunited today at Niskayuna Petsmart!🎉 Frack went straight to his brother Frick for a little "Hello Brother" sniff. 🥲💗 With most bonded pairs there is an outgoing cat and a more reserved, shy cat. In this case Frack seems to be the brave one while Frick is more shy and looks to his brother to know he's safe. Both of these sweet boys adore attention with lots of pets and love! They also really enjoy back scritches! Frick and Frack are very overweight. This makes it impossible for them to groom themselves properly and poor Frack had to get a fancy haircut to remove matting from his back. Aside from being overweight they received a clean bill of health at the veterinarian's office and were updated on their vaccinations. Unfortunately we were unable to find anyone available to foster these big, loveable boys, so they'll be available for adoption at Niskayuna Petsmart.
