July is National Pet Hydration Month!
Just like for you and me, water plays a crucial role in the overall health of our pets.
One of the best ways to make sure your dog or cat stays hydrated is for them to ear their moisture. Say what?
Think about it… dry kibble can take a toll on your pet’s system because it has to work harder and use its own moisture to process and digest the dry kibble.
One of the easiest fixes is to add water and let your pet’s food soften for 10-15 mins.
Your pet will thank you!

Back in 2012 I started down the natural and holistic path to care for my dogs and cats.
That includes making the choice to NOT vaccinate every year, but that was only after I did my research.
Rizzo was last vaccinated for rabies and parvo/distemper in 2019 as a puppy. We attended the titer clinic in April @youngbloodsnaturalanimalhealth to have her antibody levels checked and she showed FULL immunity. That’s FIVE years later.
I’m sharing my story hoping you’ll take that into consideration the next time you get that reminder postcard in the mail.
That’s also why I don’t require clients to be up-to-date on vaccinations.
You are your pet’s advocate. Over-vaccination can lead to autoimmune issues and even cancer. That was a lesson learned that the hard way.
