Pumpkin actually did surprisingly well for his nail trim. Like, better than the majority of the cats here thay ive been trimming since they were kittens. Also hes an absolute dork that loves a lap. He truly went from a very skittish but loving outdoor cat to one that acts like hes been inside his whole life. Hes just a big orange teddy bear.

Yeah, i didn't need to use this table or anything. This is fine.

I will be mostly staying off social media for the foreseeable future, i deactivated my twitter today, but wont be deleting any of the TKW accounts. So if im late responding to comments, that will be why! I'll still be posting, hopefully back to daily, but will otherwise not be online much, my anxiety has just been way too high lately and Current Events have been sending me into a major depressive/not really suicidal but kinda still wanting to die spiral.

Hemlock has a severe inner ear infection, but his vitals are all good. X-ray also ruled out any damage to his spine, preventing him from walking. Going to do some antibiotics. With the amount of pain he was in this morning i was very concerned we were going to have to put him to sleep.

At the vet with Hemlock, my mom woke me up at 7am because he was crying a lot and she couldnt figure out why. Honestly, from my knowledge, i dont see a good outcome here. Hes in lots of pain and is open mouth breathing.

Pebble is trying very hard to be supportive while im stuck in bed.... He's not doing a great job, but he is trying, and i can appreciate that. If he could stop stepping on my hair, that would be a big improvement.

When Pumpkin and i first met, while i was holding him for TNR, versus a few days ago. He has certainly gotten much larger, and much, MUCH friendlier.

Everything i own is covered in drool, and Pumpkin has not left the bed all day. He said, "This place is warm and comfy. I refuse to leave."

The drooling isnt from anything health wise as far as im aware, it isnt a constant, it is only when he starts purring and kneading. Dude is the cat equivalent of a Saint Bernard
