Hicks Honey History
Our story began when we purchased our home in 2001. Shortly after moving in we discovered a honey bee hive in the walls of our workshop. We enlisted the help of a local beekeeper who encouraged us to keep the honey bees on our lot and see what we could do. It wasn’t long after that when we started harvesting our honey and sharing the honey with others. I say sharing because when we first started we couldn’t give the honey away. Now we sell out every year. From our one hive we have blossomed over the years to become what we are today offering organic honey, creamed honey, bee wax candles, bees wax, honey infused soap, honeystix and honey filled hard candy.
