Well done to Emma and Caitlyn today at Kyneton Pony Club Combined Training and Horse Trials.

Emma competed PC Grade 5 Combined Training, placed 2nd.
Caitlyn competed Open Grade 5 Horse Trials, but unfortunately was eliminated in SJ.

Fantastic day in the Pony Club Ring at the Heathcote Show. A big thank you to our hard working committee and members that volunteered their time to make it happen, our lovely Judge Sandra Purchase and her Daughter Ella for stewarding and most of all our wonderful competitors 🥰

What a beautiful day for our August rally, the sun was shining and I think everyone had a fantastic time. It was great to see some new members there as well ☺️
Our AGM was held and a new committee appointed.
A big thanks to our previous committee for all their hard work, particularly Naomi Merrall who retired from the DC position and Liane, our Secretary who has left the club to move to WA.

What a fantastic day had by all!
Thank you to our hard working committee and members who volunteered their time. To all our wonderful sponsors who provided prizes and our Judges and Stewards. But mostly thank you to all the wonderful competitors that braved the cold and made the effort to come along and support our show.

We will be having our AGM at our next rally, Sunday August 11 during the lunch break at around 12:30. We invite everyone to attend, there will be multiple roles available including DC, Secretary, President and general committee members. We need to fill these roles for the club to continue operating. We look forward to seeing you all there.

To offer a fun, safe, inclusive and supportive setting where members of the community can come together and share their love for horses while gaining knowledge and understanding of horsemanship.

WHO

· We will ensure all community members have equal opportunities to attend our club and participate fully in the range of activities we provide.

· We welcome individuals and families from a diverse range of backgrounds; including ethnicity, culture, gender, LGBTI, age, disability and social economic status.

WHAT

· We will hold monthly rallies for members to enjoy a variety of learning opportunities through a diverse range of equine disciplines.

· We will engage a variety of instructors and experts whose method of teaching, instructing and demonstrating, is positive and encouraging for participants.

· We will provide opportunities for club members and members of the wider community to compete in a variety of equine sporting events including, Showing, Show-jumping, Dressage, Games, Equitation and Games.

HOW

· We will uphold a culture where diversity is valued, individuals are respected and inclusion and participation is encouraged.

· We will provide meaningful and fun activities for all members, including riding and non-riding members through communication and sharing of information, knowledge and wisdom.

· We will engage and seek feedback from club members and with members of the community, we will be open and adaptable to comments and feedback.

· We will collaborate with local community organisations and businesses.

WHY (OUTCOMES)

· Participants will increase their knowledge and understanding of horsemanship.

· Club members and community members will build friendships and bonds within the club, the wider community and with our beloved horses and ponies.

· Club members will develop an appreciation and respect for each other and our horses and ponies.

· Participants will gain self-confidence and independence through responsibility, improved skills and a sense of belonging.

· Build diversity and cultural awareness within the Heathcote and district community.
