Our newest little lady has arrived!

Meet Sloane, who will be going to our newest guardian home family to be beloved first dog and best pal to two extraordinary little girls and their parents here in Greater Vancouver.

I'm super pleased with this little lady who brings the spitzy content in spades - we'll post her DNA when we get it back, but she's predominantly Pomeranian, Papillon and a wee bit of Siberian

Hey all! Next up in intros is our guy Lasso - he is not spitzy at all... but instead a sweet noodle of italian greyhound X whippet.

Before you think I've lost it - let me explain! This little guy will hopefully bring in some cool sighthoundy traits - his utter love of all humans, 100km/hr to couch potatoness and quite frankly almost spitzy clownery.

Lasso was born for flyball - he thinks it is the best game and it seems to be embedded in his sweet little noodly DNA. He has lovely optimism and shocking chill for a dude so young. AND also he is just so so ridiculous and perfect in equal measure.

While many will argue that breeding dogs of radically different structure will end in some sort of frankensteinian (that's a word right?) disaster, most of us that have seen sighthound crosses know that instead what most often happens is some beautiful moderation and functional structure. His physical lightness will bring that more natural, earthy balance to the more substantial (might I say "husky") structure we see in some of our foundation breeds.

First generation we know that Lasso will also quash some of the fluff I so adore, but we're in this for the long game and physical traits like coat are much easier to reclaim than temperament (and we know there are plenty of VS hopeful homes that don't want Finch level of feathering or coat). He also will likely bring much joy to those who want a sporty little fox dog for sports as well - and we'll be following his athletic pursuits with interest.

All that to say, we adore this little guy and are excited to see where life takes him and what he brings to the project.

We'll throw a couple updates on here over the next little while. We've got some new prospects (and more coming in in short order) that we'll introduce soon! But first let's start with our boys.

First up is best boy FINCH!! (aka Smol Fox Finch)

This guy has passed his health clearances - good bones, eyes, DNA and OF course HEART!
