Our mission is to Rescue, Rehabilitate and Rehome animals in need. We rescue both cats and dogs, with our main focus on cats and kittens. We are always looking for both cat and dog fosters, as well as "special fosters" to care for orphaned babies who need bottle feeding and shy animals who need extra special TLC and handling.

Meet Poblano and Cayenne🧡🧡

This brother and sister duo came to us afraid and uncertain of the big scary world around them but with lots of love from their foster family, they have grown in their confidence leaps and bounds.

Poblano is a funny, handsome and rumbunctious little ginger who loves to play and get into silly kitten mischief. He can still have moments of being shy around new people and situations, but he is often very easily won over with treats and fun toys😸

Cayenne is a sweet, shy, gentle lady who is looking for a cat-savvy home with people who understand that she will need a little extra time and patience while she comes out of her shell and learns that people can actually be very nice🫶and both would do best staying together or with another kitty friend in their forever home🏡

If you are interested in meeting Poblano or Cayenne, please fill out an application on our website: forgottenfelines.com/cat-app or call (707) 576-7999 for more information.

Trapping is essential to our efforts to manage and care for a diverse array of cat populations, from unowned domestic cats to entirely wild cats🐈️

Our trappers here at Forgotten Felines are on the front-line in getting cats into our clinics who desperately need our help. Without our trappers going into the community and bringing in cats that are in need, we would not have clinics at all. This is where it starts ✅️

As a volunteer trapper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and humane treatment of all cats encountered in the field. This role requires adaptability, understanding various cat temperaments, and a commitment to our mission.

We provide training and all necessary traps and equipment, and you will have the support of our dedicated team throughout your volunteering experience. By joining our trapping team, you will be directly contributing to the welfare of unowned cats and helping us achieve our mission🫶

Are you ready to answer the call to make a direct impact for our feline friends? Contact us at (707) 576-7999 or head to https://www.forgottenfelines.com/volunteer to fill out an application.

Stanley is a total love bug!

Stanley is a total love bug!

Meet Stanley🐈‍⬛

Don't let his scrappy appearance fool you, this big ol hunk is a 100% bona fide love muffin. Stanley had a rough life living in the great outdoors as he had been abandoned by the river and before he was rescued, he'd accrued a couple of nasty wounds which led him to become the gorgeous one-eyed, one-eared bandit that he is.

Now, with his street days behind him, Stanley enjoys the finer things in life, like cuddling in bed with his humans, eating yummy snacks, being brushed, and rolling around on the floor to catch dust bunnies. He would love a forever home where he'll never have to live life on the streets again and where he can be loved on all the time by his people. He also hopes that his forever home comes with a kitty girlfriend to keep him company. Stanley prefers calicos, but tabbies will do in a pinch😹

We understand that for many people who are looking to adopt a feline family member, a young, healthy adorable kitten might be your first choice but please consider the other cats that are just as deserving of a home and have just as much love to give ~ sometimes, even more ♥️

If you are interested in meeting Stanley, please fill out an application on our website or call (707) 576-7999 for more information.

Bellaboo ❤️

Not a single application for this sweet angel.

At the venerable age of 15 years, this Chihuahua mix is the epitome of tranquility. Her days are spent in serene silence, a gentle presence in the home. Nighttime finds her nestled in her crate, where she slumbers undisturbed until the morning light. Her routine is simple but essential: a brief outing for potty breaks and a short walk that she eagerly anticipates. Above all, she cherishes cuddles, seeking the warmth and comfort of a loving embrace. This sweet soul’s quiet existence is a testament to the peaceful companionship that dogs bring into our lives.

We love rescuing seniors, both because they are so precious, and also because it’s their last chance to have the lives they deserve. But it’s also harder to find homes for senior pets. Those of us who have adopted seniors will tell you that the bond can be just as tight and seniors absolutely can learn new tricks.
