If you all ever wonder how strange mushrooms can be, check out these photos. These are liquid cultures that I made. They are mushroom spores growing in a sterile mixture that I made. All of the mixture liquid is the same, but each mushroom species grows so differently.

The pink oyster is something else!

Lot going on over here! Blue Oyster and King Oyster are on deck for the fruiting chamber. Should only be a few more days before they are colonized and ready to go. I double up on the fruiting blocks, so I should have a big harvest.

On deck are King Trumpets and some more Lion’s Mane and King Oysters.

12 fruiting blocks are fully colonized and were transported to the fruiting chamber. Just need to dial in the perfect fruiting conditions and I will have some fresh Lion’s Mane, Pink Oyster and Pearl Oyster mushrooms in a few days!

Lion’s Mane, Pink Oyster and King Trumpet liquid jars. The jars are sterilized and will be ready to inject tomorrow.

These jars will allow me to inoculate 60x the amount of grain substrate jars than a single syringe.
