Late Ohiopyle Summary!🤍
Ohiopyle was their first “intense” hike at a busy state park, and I am already longing to go back. This state park has always felt like a haven for dogs. Over the years, I’ve seen so many rare breeds here for the first time, and I’ve always looked forward to bringing my own. They ignored a ton of dogs, barking and quiet. They even ignored children who got too close (my dogs don’t like kids, but then again, neither do I lol. Kids are not allowed to interact with them). While they’ve never been reactive to kids, I’m always careful to encourage positive behavior around them. I was so amazed by their hiking etiquette, even though Stoic did pull me once at the beginning of the hike, on the way to the falls. I wiped out pretty hard but other than that, he really started to get into the flow of things. He helped me up steep inclines but was cautious when going down, I was so proud of him. Dragon, of course, is already a pro at it! I watched them have SO much fun, their body language and expressions spoke a thousand words. There were so many unfamiliar and unlimited sniffies, with many obstacles to climb! I am so incredibly proud of them, hiking means a lot to me and they’re the best adventure partners!
