Just think about the billions of animals that have starved to death with all this delirious development in Florida since 1960. Billions of fruiting shrubs like Huckleberry and Blueberry along with fields of Wild Coffee and Simpson Stopper all plowed into burn piles. It was a garden of 'eatin for birds travelling the Atlantic Flyway. Then They Paved Paradise, as everyone was out to become millionaires.

All this maudlin sentimentality about animals but the reality is the all out development of everywhere. My hometown went from 6 thousand people to 18 thousand people and the town I live in went from 4 thousand to 16 thousand now. An unbelievable amount of habitat. America has doubled in population in my lifetime. So ask yourself where did all the animals go? Here's an excerpt from the story about kevin the Wild Turkey. "We held our breath fearing the day when we would read that Kevin got hit by a truck that he was chasing, but conveniently forget the millions of animals whose habitat was destroyed as Wethersfield went from farms, forests and wetlands, to suburbs, stores and sprawl.

Baby bunnies buried as the foundation of your house was being poured. All that prosperity in Wethersfield and what was set aside for nature?
Meanwhile Muskrats and Beavers were starving and hiding when their wetland was filled in during the silent slaughter created by "civilization" and "saving for retirement". Foxes and Weasels long lost to the empty ecosystem dominated today by Squirrels and Raccoons. Large bug eating animals such as Skunks and Possums are on the ropes in all these communities.

Everything wild about America was tamed and Kevin the Wethersfield Turkey is a symbol of what we once were. There are many ways to integrate wild life back into our life and we need to learn that. Plant trees that have nuts that wild turkeys like, and grow native grasses so turkeys can harvest the seeds. Prune up the canopies of the numerous beautiful trees in Olde Wethersfield so Kevin can fly low like turkeys do."

FROM THE VATICAN LIBRARY COMES THIS TALE. "Lilith and Adam were sufficiently impressed with this booming voice in the clouds, but Lilith was suspicious and eventually told him to "eat my shorts", in the vernacular of the day, and stomped off. Lilith didn't want to become stupid, servile and subservient in this "man cult".
The Doomsday Hound started to call himself the God. The God of all. The God of everything. "Really?" asked Adam.
"I made the sun and moon and all the lights in the sky."
"The animals too?" asked Adam. "No s**t! You da man!" Adam exclaimed.
"Yeh yeh, all the animals too." Well, this was a miracle and Adam was ready to follow this god, this deceiving light to every corner of the flat earth. Satan told Adam his name was God and soon after he found Eve who was not the sharpest tool in the shed, and they soon started a family. (he said he made her from a rib but that was a fib. She was kidnapped from the local village.)
