The Loot Chute A New Interactive Food Dispensing Puzzle Toy for Dogs I love to feed my dogs full meals from interactive food toys, and recommend them to almost all my clients.

However, I have always been underwhelmed by the offerings. They all seem to be either too easy, too hard to clean, or too breakable. I also don't like that they all seem to ask the same thing of the dog: "Roll me or throw me around as hard as you can". One day I had an idea for a toy and using some wood scraps and items from the Container Store, I turned the idea into reality. Low and behold, it t

urned out better than I even expected. It's challenging but not impossible. Brute force is only minimally helpful. Easy to clean. And uses an entirely different mechanism than other comparable toys. Watching Alan masterfully work it is really fun to watch, too. Now I am looking to sell and manufacture the Loot Chute™. Ideally it would be made out of hard dog proof plastic. But that's going to take money I just don't have. This page is here to help raise awareness of the Loot Chute™ while I work on raising money. Sharing with your friends is much appreciated! While I was able to register a trademark, I was not able to patent the toy ($5000!). Therefore I unfortunately can't publicly post some great video I took of the Loot Chute™ in action. If you are serious in wanting to take a look, I'd me more than happy to show you. Just contact me. Thanks!

No news for a while, so here's an update on the greatest dog toy ever created, The Loot Chute. Been working on some redesigns to make it cooler and super duper convenient to use. Worked obsessively on it last week using an awesome Google 3D modeling program. Biggest problem was I knew nothing about 3D modeling. Now I know a tiny tiny bit.

:D awesome.

:D awesome.

Showing up on Conan with a herd of dogs, Will Ferrell demonstrates the absolute wrong way to use a clicker for training.

Got some good news today... looks like I'll be able to safely show videos of the Loot Chute very soon!
