FYI….The point of having your pet in the crate during travel is to keep them safe if the car accident was to occur. Pet should only be able to stand up, turn around and lay down. For the rest we make stops every 3-4 hours. Think child car seat, we use it for the same reason. As less room as possible. Otherwise what’s the point of having a crate in a car if there is still room for your pet to get injured?
