Great Crazy Eights Club show in McMinnville, had a great time showing Satin Angoras and Odin showed his Himalayan named Thing. Quail Hollow Farm White Cocoa earned her last Grand Champion leg and can go back into the brood barn again. Celestial Farm’s Hazelnut won Best Opposite S*x both A and B shows, and will go to Michele Reschly of Elemental Farm to become a herdsire. Celestial Farm’s Rhetta for Best of Variety White but no love for Breed. Michele and I spotted our Fuzzy Giant Love T-Shirts too!

We had such a fun day at Family Farm Expo in Albany. Lots of families and kids, and rabbits and chickens and bees and plants oh my! Deidra and I sported our Giant Angora Love shirts courtesy of Tammy Vaughn.

Wonderful weekend of showing at Stevenson, with Celestial Farm’s Gladiator taking a Best of Breed and a Best Opposite S*x, and Celestial Farm’s Dragonfly Chai taking a Best Opposite S*x at the tender age of 12 weeks! Celestial Farm’s Starbuck also won a very competitive class of 8 junior bucks for a grand championship leg.

Congratulations to Elemental Farm Rogue, for 2 Best of Breed and two Best Opposite at Stevenson, Washington this weekend. Rogue has two GC legs to her credit but since she is not registerable she will retire to the brood barn to improve the French texture on a friends breeding program.

We had such a great time at the Rebel Rabbit Breeders NYE/NYD shows. Celestial Farm’s Peppermint Bark won BOV and BOB in shows A and C, Celestial Farm’s Frosting won Best Opposite S*x of Variety and Breed in shows A and C. We also started two new breeds! Himalayans and Brittania Petites, here we come!

GC (pending) QHF White Cocoa gave me the best gift this morning: four beautiful Satin Angora kits. Look at the perfect markings on the broken chocolate!

Happy to report that Heart of Texas’ Danaerys is now a Grand Champion! This lovely REW Satin Angora doe took Best of Breed in Show A and Show B at Rabbitstock in Eugene, Oregon today. Best Opposite in show A is Celestial Farm’s Frosting, a pearl buck, and Best of Variety and Best Opposite S*x of Breed in Show B was Frosting as well. Very happy with this buck from my first litter after a brief hiatus from the hobby in 2020!

So pleased and honored to have the youth BOS and son of my beloved Celestial Farm’s Bixby in my barn to rejuvenate my herd! He is sweet, silly, and loves his sweet potato. 🤪

Very happy to be able to share stock with Arianne Ferguson to be part of her herd rebuild.
Ariana contributed with some wonderful SA’s that help my herd improvement.
Greenleaves Dancing Water, Celestial Bixby’s son is going to Oregon.
