Howdy! Just a reminder guys! I’m trying to hold my tongue about heat lamps. It’s very dangerous! If you live in Dallas or any DFW areas our winters are not BAD!

Things I would do is bring your waterer inside so it won’t freeze. I also would give Texas Natural Feeds scratch right before bed. It’s a great mix of whole grain that naturally heats up the chickens.

Enjoy this polar vortex folks. Our chickens got this!

No additional heat, no chickens brought inside, no blocking of the wind, no amenities. NOTHING!

Just letting chickens be chickens. Not one chicken was lost. Not one.

Gah Lee we have so many coops! I didn’t even take pictures of a few this year!!! We’ve been so busy. I’m so thankful for every single one of my clients and employees. Especially thankful for my family who has endured the many many coops in the driveway!
