Still a lot of work ahead, but I'm happy with the progress made in my male Barreds tails. First two pictures are of my two year old male at the NEPC 2020. The other two pictures are my current three year old male just at NEPC 2025.

How it all began.
Westman Heritage Breeds is a father son hobby that my dad and I began several years ago when we first learned of heritage breeds, their significance, and why their preservation is so important. When we first started out, we only had a few heritage birds; we’ve since grown to currently having seven different breeds. We’ve worked hard finding the best genetics to build the foundation of our bloodlines and we continue to focus our breeding programs to move closer towards the Standard of Perfection.
