Canadian Children’s Hunter Champions 2024!!
We are so extremely proud of Ava and Dorado on this incredible achievement. Ava started riding with us when she was little and to see her grow up into the most incredible young lady has been a complete honour. She is smart, kind, caring, always with a smile on her face, and approaches everything with a calm confidence backed up by exceptional work ethic. Ava consistently puts her horse’s well-being first while she graduated high school a year early. Leading up to this season Ava set the Royal in her sights as she begins her next chapter: University. This would mean that after the Royal, her chapter with Dorado would close.

In true Ava fashion, her hard work paid off and her dreams came true. Over the last two days, Ava and Dorado completed three beautiful trips. The last of which was the fairytale ending to an incredible partnership, winning her stake class. It was such an emotional moment that we feel so lucky to be a part of. We are so honoured to have been her coaches and wish her the most incredible luck. We are so excited to see what comes next for Ava. She will accomplish anything that she puts her mind to.

We also want to extend thanks to the amazing Dorado, who we have had in our barn since he was two years old. This horse continues to amaze us with his kindness and his hilarious attitude. It has been such a pleasure training him and seeing him walk into that ring with so much confidence. It was a real highlight as trainers, thank you to everyone involved. This is a complete team sport and we could not do it without the amazing team we have.

Royal Ready!!

Dorado is looking for his next partner as his current partner is off to university. He is a 13 year old 16.2 hand gelding. Dorado is a barn favourite as he is the ultimate packer and confidence builder. He is a push ride with a beautiful auto change and an easygoing attitude. He is a wonderful horse for a kid or adult in the 3ft and 3”3 hunters. Also loves doing derby’s. He will be showing at the Royal Winter Fair in the Children’s Hunters and will be available to try after.
