We are heartbroken to share that our Tay Valley barn family has suffered an incredible loss. On Thursday February 1 we unexpectedly lost our beloved Catherine Ball. There are not enough words to begin to express who Catherine was and what she meant to so many. She was such an incredible soul and bright light who was loved by everyone who met her. The love she had for her family, friends and animals was so special. Catherine was everyone’s biggest cheerleader and to see her with her horse, Iggy and the connection they had was so beautiful to all who got to witness it. Our barn will never be the same and we will cherish every moment we had with her. RIP beautiful Cath, you will be missed beyond words and until we meet again 💔

What a fantastic week at the Ottawa Welcome!! Thank you as usual to the for putting on such a fantastic show!! Congratulations to all our horses and riders. Candy Queen and Amelia Ritchie making a clean sweep over fences and taking home the Championship in the Childrens Pony Division!!
Medallion and Sophie Kotsovolos were 1,2,2 over fences in the Beginner Child/Adult Division and ended up Champion!!
Iago K and Sophie Clauwers stepped up to the 3ft Childrens Hunters and came home with 4,5,5,6 over fences. Dorado and Erin Oswald in the Junior hunters with a class win and some great ribbons! Thank you Erin for taking the ride so his owner/rider could celebrate her Prom Weekend!!
Remember Me owned by Elisabeth Caron came out to her very first show and just got better each trip!! Thank you Thijs Clauwers for the ride this is going to be a special one!! Rosaleah and Sarah King had some positive rides over in the Jumper Ring ending up with a 4th in the .90 Jumpers on Sunday. Emma and her new horse CC were fantastic for their first time out together in the 1m division getting a 6th and 7th. Christian Bay and Karen had some great trips in the Jumper ring and we can’t thank his owner Cara McNamee enough for letting us develop this lovely horse. We are so thankful for our wonderful barn family at home and at the show for making everything run smoothly and supporting each other. Also a special thank you to the group for being such great neighbours and friends 💕. Looking forward to a few weeks home at our lovely farm then on to Caledon!!

We want to congratulate our riders who attended last weeks show at Wesley Clover Park. For Ella and Lily Ireton and their horse Out of the Blue this was their first horse show and ended up Champion and Reserve Champion in the Pre Novice and Cross Poles. Ali and her horse Diamond in the Rough moved into the Jumper ring and were fantastic with a 5th in their Equitation. Sophie and Ice Cube were 2nd in their child medal and 2,2,4 in the 2”6 children’s. Catherine and Ice Cube were 4,6,6 in the 2ft open hunters. We are so proud of this group of riders!!
