I am resting up for my road trip!! Tomorrow we leave for our warm house, and I must say it is just in time! Today I went out for a walk in the neighborhood and it was quite chilly, even with my fur. My humans always know just when the right time to head south is, and I am looking forward to the trip! I will miss my friends here, but it looking forward to seeing all my Florida friends soon!

The little human is growing rapidly, both in energy and size. He knows my name and says a polite hello when he sees me. He just needs to learn that old dogs need sleep……..

Sorry I haven’t posted in a while, I have been very busy after being gone for three weeks! But what a trip it was, we finished the last day in Amish country, and I thought regular humans were big, but the Amish are really big! I had a chance to fertilize a corn field, and that was the 15th NEW state I visited on this trip!! I have been to 36 states and also Canada, how many have you been to??

I can’t wait to to go on another adventure!

States this trip: Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Nevada, California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Missouri…

States I have already been to: Florida, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio,
Virginia, West Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, and Georgia!!!

Our trip home has been even more exciting, I got to see Las Vegas, it was wonderful but very hot. Next we followed a road called Route 66 and we visited Kingman Arizona, Flagstaff and Winslow too!! Then it was on to New Mexico and Texas, and then Oklahoma and Missouri…. All of these are new states for me and I am having a very good time…. The sagebrush and warm smell of colitas made the desert extra special, and the weather has been fantastic. We should be home by the weekend, and I will miss this wonderful travel, but I am looking forward to my own bed and the salt air of Maine!

Lake Tahoe has been both relaxing and exiting! There are bears and wolves everywhere, and the fresh air is breathtaking! There were wolves in the restaurant and bears in the dumpster out side my room. I and so glad I got to see this special place, but it is time to head back home. Check tomorrow for my next stops!

I have finally made it to Lake Tahoe, I have heard so many stories and it is just as beautiful as I imagined! We traveled through Utah and Nevada yesterday to get here last night, and it was some of the most beautiful country I have seen! Looking forward to chilling here for a few days!!!

What a trip. I got to visit Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska and Colorado, and left my mark in each one…. So exciting to visit and explore new places… on to Utah tomorrow!

Hello everyone! I am just chilling in the lobby of the Embassy suites in South Bend, Indiana, enjoying the evening reception. How did I get here? My humans surprised me with a summertime excursion! We are heading west where I will get to visit a dozen or more states that I’ve never been to before!. I plan to leave my mark in each one, we have already been to Niagara Falls to Notre Dame University. I will share a picture later. I’m tired and need to go to bed.

The little human is back. He is adorable, and has wonderful hair that does not shed. He is curious and playful, much like a younger me. I supppose I can play along for now, his energy is both infectious and tiring….
