Babies in route to our amazing mobile fosters

We received a plea this afternoon about 12 puppies who where found under an overpass no mom in sight that landed at a shelter in mobile Alabama.

The shelter was able to get six of the pups placed into foster care so we agreed to take the remaining six that way everyone was covered before the shelter closed for the day

Updates and names to follow but welcome our new years babies to rescue

Josie, Rosie and Maria all will be making their way to Auburn 1/14 for their cardiac evals to determine what is causing their murmurs in their tiny hearts and we are planning to leave one of them to have surgery dependent on if any have fixable defects to have their little heart fixed!!!

This will be our 4th yes 4th heart surgery on a puppy set for euthanasia by Amish mills due to being unsellable just because they have a problem. These problems shouldn’t be a death sentence but since they can’t make money off them without a rescue it is.

With a successful surgery these babies all can live long happy lives!!

We are the only rescue in Alabama dedicated to the rescue and rehab of puppies born with birth defects such as murmurs, clefts, liver shunts the list goes one as well as neonatal puppies who have lost their mom for one reason or another

We really need to try and raise 2000.00 to cover the deposit for whichever puppy will have surgery Jan 15th

We absolutely can not do this without our amazing village of supporters who follow and love these babies and their stories

MY STORY:
Milly is one of our recent Amish mill rescues. She was placed on the euthanasia list because she has a condition called inflammatory bowel disease. Milly’s foster is making her food that doesn’t have extra additives in it and that is keeping the issue under control and her stool is staying formed. She does well with other dogs and kids. Her foster says she is doing well on potty training and is overall a very mellow girl who prefers to just lay around and be lazy

Wishlist Wednesday is a bit different this week..

We are blessed to have most of the supplies we need right now so our puppies have one major wish this Christmas.

You see these 8 angels all have heart issues 4 still need to see auburn which is scheduled for Jan 14th the other 4 have confirmed PDA which needs surgical correction

They all where to be euthanized by puppy mills because of their defect because they didn’t want to the spend the money to try and fix their little hearts.

So this Wednesday and Christmas
Menorah, Raya, Cyrus, Josie, Rosie, Redman, Yukon and Jagger ask can you make a small donation to help go toward our “mend our heart” fund

Y’all have been amazing and helping us successfully fix paislee, Wednesday and Hobbs heart and next up is these babies ❤️
These babies didn’t ask to be born much less be cast aside when they had issues but together we can be the bridge to their happy ending!!

From being discarded by a puppy mill due to a broken leg to now being a loved family member moxie got her Christmas wish and has a family of her own just in time for Christmas!!
