BREED: Blue Heeler (Australian Cattle Dog)

MY AGE: 4 yrs

MY STORY:
Ryder is not only a stunner but a super sweet boy too!! Ryder does well with other dogs and has shown he does well in a crate having no accidents while his fosters are at work. While we can’t say for sure he also is doing well on his house manners having had only one accident so far when he didn’t get outside quick enough. All Ryder wants is someone to give him tons of love and belly rubs

MY STORY:
Opal was rescued from a shelter in Alabama after she and 27 other dogs owner was hospitalized and unfortunately wouldn’t be coming back home. Opal does good with other dogs if all sizes and is a big love bug. She is still working on her potty training at this time.

NAME: Yuki

BREED: Cocker Spaniel

MY AGE: DOB 3/15/25

MY SIZE: estimated adult weight 20-25 lbs

MY STORY:
Yuki is one of our recent puppies rescued after being deemed unsellable by an Amish puppymill.She has been examined by our vet and given a clean bill of health. Yuki is totally deaf and is also vison impaired we believe based on her reactions she can see shadows when in well lit areas. Yuki is good with other dogs and kids. She is not yet potty trained

💛 Don’t Forget $5 Fridays! 💛

Today, our sweet Sorcha went to Auburn to have her heart murmur evaluated. She was diagnosed with a PDA (patent ductus arteriosus) and a thinning of her pulmonary aorta, which has caused a mild dissection.

💔 The challenge: This makes her surgery more complicated and requires she have the more expensive PDA repair which involves the placement of a special device to block off her PDA.
💛 The hope: she has a chance at a healthy, happy life as this is a repairable defect

This means a longer recovery for Sorcha and a greater financial hit for our rescue.

👉 Please consider donating—just $5 can make a difference!

Your support helps us say “yes” to complicated cases like Sorcha’s and give them the care they deserve.

She is currently scheduled for surgery 7/8/25 but we must raise the funds for this girl as they require us to pay a deposit prior to surgery day.

Pupdate on our other two pups who went to Auburn yesterday for their rechecks post life saving heart surgery

Howie unfortunately had to be rescheduled he developed an upper respiratory infection so he is now rescheduled for August unless something opens up sooner

Miss Mochi’s heart surgery was a total success her heart is working like it should, no longer had a murmur and she is now cleared of any heart issues. She is being spayed next week and already has family anxiously waiting for her to be able to come home ❤️
