Hi all..this is Danica-Jace. She is a border-collie / Australian Shepherd mix. She's estimated to be @ 1.5 years of age, has had her 1st vax (Canine 5-in-one) and was neutered 2 weeks ago. She has been absolutely fine with my 2 dogs and my household kitties. We are in the process of crate-training housebreaking. I'm putting her thru the basics of obedience training - first lesson was today. She is hyper-friendly yet a bit timid...she rolls over and shows her belly when approached, so very submissive...not sure what's happened in her life to cause this behavior, but kind treatment and love will be the treatment. She's improved quite a bit since I've had her.
Rescued from Menifee, socal, no collar, no chip. She's available for adoption to the right person. Adoption re-homing fee will be to cover the cost of her spay surgery. I have all medical records for her. PM me if interested...

This sweet mama was dumped out at a home..the lady cared for her (she was pregnant at the time) until she became ill. SuGar K has a foster in Hemet who's taken her in. She has had 3 babies. Mama is quite ill and our foster has paid $243 in vet bills to care for mama, who apparently has feline rhinotracheitis, also known as feline herpes...or possibly calici virus, which can be serious if untreated. Mama is quite ill and is trying to care for her babies. She is VERY affectionate and totally trusting of human contact with her kids. I will try to keep this story running on her life and what happens. Rescue is expensive. If anyone has food or anything to offer as a donation to help my friend/foster Lisa out with the care, food, necessary neuter surgeries, etc., please let me know. It would be much appreciated. California has been nearly absent in animal care since using covid as an excuse to just stop, so it is the rescues who value life that take this on their own . She's in Hemet California

This is Betty Boots. She was being carried by her mama across a busy state highway in Southern CA...mama dropped her and the traffic scared mama away. A friend of our stopped her car in the highway to nab the 3 week old kitten and rushed her to us. She's been spayed and lives with us and our other felines and 2 herding dogs. She loves stealing our dog's bed!

Gunther, aka Gunny, was born in our home to an extremely feral and protective mama cat we'd taken off the streets. He had a genetic disorder called Feline Stomatitis. His entire mouth/gums became extremely red, inflamed and infected and we had to have all his teeth removed. We end up with the kittens that have medical issues, because few people are willing to treat such extensive medical issues.
We want to rescue, home, and help where we can.
Gunny, now known also as "Gummy" is a love bug who has no issues eating, including kibble which he loves.

Announcing our official name regarding kitten rescue....welcome to our new page!!!
SuGar K Kitten Haven!!!
We will post pics of kittens, past, present and future, as well as try to assist others who are involved in rescue. We want to place unwanted kittens into homes for only a nominal surgery/neuter fee. The cat population explosion is a human created problem because we are not being responsible in pet ownership. We humans allow our "pet" cats to run freely and, sadly, they do breed like rabbits.
So I hope you can all help us in reducing both the human and animal misery this creates.
