I know we as humans try. At least I want to believe we do. We try to be good, and do all that's good. That's what I love about animals; they don't even have to try! They are just amazing! Okay, I'm curious... If Noah had little rooms set up for every one of the animals on the ark, what room would you go to first? My blink reaction was "of course to the dog room" but then I thought about the monkeys. I might have to go there first as I'm fascinated by monkeys! What room would you go to first?

In the difficult moments following a euthanasia appointment, your compassion and support are more critical than ever. Here are thoughtful ways to help your clients navigate their grief:

🗨️ Keep the lines of communication open. A simple check-in can mean the world.
💌 Send a sympathy card immediately - and perhaps a gentle note on the anniversary.
📞 Make a point to call them the following days, showing that they're not alone.
🖥️ Use your social platforms to honor their beloved pet's memory.
🕯️ Present a memorial tribute that commemorates the love and joy their pet brought.
🎈 Organize a heartfelt Good-Bye/Until We Meet Again event to celebrate the pet's life.
💻 Offer a virtual memorial service regularly to support grieving families together.
🤲 Create a virtual support group on Facebook Live, Zoom, or other platforms for ongoing support.

Your role in their healing journey is invaluable.

I wish I had a dime for every time a family has said this to me as we lovingly paid tribute to their beloved babe. This is such a beautiful thing about our relationship with animals. They are always the best, and perfect. With animals, there are no failed expectations. Only love and all that gets wrapped up with that. I still can't believe we are so blessed with gifts like them! Shout it out... put the names of YOUR best dog right here. I'm going to start, and put all of mine that are guiding me every day... Blackie, Buddy, Snobal, Mike the Dog, Mico, Ellie, Crisco, Harry... now you go.

Sometimes I'm in awe that God created such a magical thing and then just gave it to us. Just freaking gave it to us. I do believe they are our angels. They have character traits we can only dream of having... the TRUE ability for unconditional love, forgiveness, loyalty, trust, resilience, and so much more. Here's my belief...they have been sent here by Him to be our teachers, to be his angels, and to watch over us. Where are you on this? I have more on this, but I'll withhold it to see what you all have to say! Give it to me... let's discuss!

🕯️ In the quiet moments of remembrance, we find peace in the warm glow of a candle, lighting the way for our beloved pets across the Rainbow Bridge. Each flicker a reminder of the love and joy they brought into our lives. 🌈💕
