THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HAVE DONATED to our Giving Tuesday event. Nope….still not too late!

The only thing important about rescue is being successful. And, we can’t be successful without the support of YOUR donation. Thank you to those who have already given! It’s not too late! Please consider if you have not.

TODAY really is GIVING TUESDAY! Won't you PLEASE make a difference for our English Cocker Spaniels. We'll volunteer to manage, travel, foster and love our rescues but we need YOU to help make up what we can't do ourselves. Every penny goes directly to support English Cockers.

Hello!

Meet Alejandro (13) and Giselle (8) who are looking for a new home. These two are bonded and we would like to place them together, if possible. Location Virginia Beach, VA.

Their human family has a member who has developed allergies so they are in need to be new home for their golden years. They can be in a family with cats and other dogs. Both are playful and energetic.

If you would be interested in either fostering these two or considering adopting them please apply at:

Thanks
Michele

Reminder for everyone - if your dog is sensitive loud noises do not bring them to the July 4th fireworks display but rather crate them in a quiet and safe location. If you need thunder shirts, calming meds, etc - reach out to your vet now rather than the day prior.

Meet Bailey
Bailey is a 6 ½ year old Tri-Colored (Liver, White, Tan) Field Bred English Cocker. She is in the need of a new home because her owner has been recently diagnosed with dementia and struggles with Bailey’s energy and pacing due to a need for higher level activity than she could receive with her former family.

She is well tempered, can be with other dogs and animals. She can be with an active family or trained for hunting. She is currently located in Wisconsin.

If you are interested please apply at:
https://ecscahealthandrescue.org/index.php/ecsrescueadoption/

Note: Rescue is not able to transport across country so if you are interested in her becoming part of your family, please consider if you are able to work with us for transport.

Our Rescue foster dogs are fully vetted before being placed for adoption. This doesnt just mean vaccinations. It means ANY medical issue that we become aware of during the dog's time in foster care. Or that we were made aware of before taking a dog into our program.
Vet and medical costs and tests are not cheap. For example we have recently paid out almost $2000 for dental including tooth extraction, meds, urinalysis we cover costs for a whole host of other medical issues as needed including spay/neuter. You can be sure that if you adopt from us all known problems have been identified, addressed and shared with the adopter.
Our adoption fees are never intended to fully pay for an individual dog's medical costs, they never do. We are non-profit and are grateful for and depend on each of our supporters for donations that are paying forward for future dogs that come in to our program.

If you can donate for future rescue dogs please google ECSCA Health and Rescue page and contribute.

We love our supporters and fans and can't do it without all of you!!

This sweet senior needs a special forever home. He needs a human or two that are pretty inactive. Jaxx gets anxiety if left alone at home and also panics if crated. He is deaf, slight vision impairment and those things may have something to do with his anxiety. He follows his foster mom on her heels. He does very well riding in a vehicle.
Current on all vacs, recent dental (lost 7 teeth) and foster mom is working with medication to deal with anxiety. Currently located in Phoenix. Foster needs to be close to Phoenix or surrounding area. If interested and can give this handsome boy a home please fill out application at the top of this page.

Penny needs a home. We thought she was going to be a foster fail but it hasn't worked.out. Penny has been on Prozac however she still is not adapting well to being with the other dog in the home. She MUST be the only dog in the home. She is a sweet dog but wants to be an only dog.

She is near Cleveland. If you can provide a Furever Home for her please fill out an application online and submit to us right away.
