"I was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. I moved to Galveston in 2015 and started school at Texas A&M University Galveston. We recently moved back from Florida because we missed the island life. I am a full-time real estate agent that LOVES animals. My dream job as a child was to become a veterinarian but, God had bigger plans. Here’s a little bit of history - I have been pet sitting since 2014. Nicki Huprich, who founded DogsBFF, taught me how to be a professional pet sitter. Dogs BFF has grown since September 2018 into Galveston Pet Sitters formally introduced in January 2020. I now have a team that services different parts of Galveston and Harris Counties. I haven’t had to turn away a request yet!
Boarding your pets can be stressful for everyone. We offer the alternative of going to them as a mobile service. A pet sitter should be someone who you can count on to check your mail, bring in the newspaper, replace the garbage, and tidy up so home is just as you left it when you return. If there are any other special requests, like watering your plants, don’t hesitate to ask! You can expect frequent updates and photos during each visit to stay connected to your kids.
Details behind the services -
My daily pet sitting service is great for owners who just need their pet to be fed and let outside for relief. If you are going out of town and need to me to drop by for a few visits a day or if you have a few nights a week you come home late and need me to go by and feed your animals on a routine basis during the week; this service is for you.
With my Play Day service your dog gets 30 minutes of FUN! I will walk or run with your dog. This service is great for people with busy work weeks & don’t have time to walk their dog in the morning or afternoon. Most customers that use this service use it once a week, as there is normally just one day that they need to be able to take care of more errands or personal things before or after work and don’t have time to walk the 4legged family member.
Overnight pet sitting is another option. Boarding your pets can be stressful for them, and let’s face it...you will be stressed worried if they are ok. With my overnight pet sitting service your pets get to stay in the comfort of their own home and I stay with them.
Pick up services are ideal for the person that works after hours or needs back up in case they won’t make it in time for vet visits or play dates. While dropping them off at home, their normal feeding/potty routine is included!
