Met Gus!
Or Gus Gus or Gustard. 🐶🤍

Gus is a sweet young adult dog, the shelter records say between 2-4 years old. He is likely an American English Coonhound or some type of coonhound mix.
He was brought in as a stray in New Mexico.

At first Gus was reluctant to even come inside his foster home, but he warmed up straight away and the shy and timid dog we picked up melted into the sweetest and most affectionate guy.

Gus is house broken and crate trained very well. He has done amazing and with backyard access he hasn’t had a single accident in our home. He will need work on leash walking, but he is intelligent and extremely eager to please. I have no doubt he will be highly trainable. He is sparingly vocal which is surprising for the breed, especially considering his foster home has two other coonhounds who bark all the time.

Gus does like to chew and would definitely benefit from a toy collection. He is also very fast and strong and may try to slip out behind you through a door.

He will fit in well with a family or with other dogs. He has had no problems with the dogs in his foster home and seems to like being part of a pack. The children in the home are 6 months and 2 years and he has not had any issue aside from being a little extra sniffy. Gus would also thrive as an only dog because he likes to do his own thing and loves attention.

Gus is missing a small part of his right ear and has a few scratches from his life as a stray, but he is healing nicely, is neutered and vetted, and ready to be adopted.

He likes soft toys and fuzzy blankets and taking naps. He would make a great hiking companion or camping buddy. He is truly an incredible dog and he deserves a family who will take him on adventures and then cuddle with him on the couch.

Gus is so ready to be completely devoted to someone completely devoted to him! ❣️

She is a great cuddler and she does great with all size dogs. Sora is a very vocal girl while playing, but don’t let it fool you, she loves to run around and play. She has done great with cats and kids. I do believe she will love to be in a 1 or 2 dog household as she loves her cuddle time. She is bit shy at first, so slow introductions to new people are good. She is potty trained and crate trained. She sleeps in there at night but she can free roam if she knows how to go outside to use the potty. She is a sweet girl and such a pretty one too.

Meet the cutest pair of Me and mini Me! Sampson is a 9 month Pyrenees/Hound/Anatolian and Baby is....... something cute! Baby is a 1yr old, medium sized probably terrier/border collie with the biggest heart. He absolutely loves people and great with other dogs. Sampson loves people too and he and Baby have become best buds in their foster home as you can see in the pics. They are both house trained and do well on a leash. When they get to playing it's very entertaining as they run across the yard taking turns chasing each other. It's not common to get two completely separate dogs that look so much alike. They are searching for their furrever family and if they get adopted as apair, that would be awesome.

Meet Angie…just the right mix of snuggle adorable and play. She loves to romp outside chasing leaves. She stays connected while in the house and outside and comes when called although mostly at her own speed lol . Her foster siblings enjoy her company and always make room for her. Sora is a 2 year old husky / Belgian mal mix. She is a very sweet baby who doesn’t mind small animals or dogs but needs a slower introduction with dogs. She is crate trained and potty trained, continuous work on a leash/harness. Absolutely loved bones but would prefer them in my crate around other dogs. Loves to cuddle and be near her person. She will be a beautiful addition to an active home that has a yard she can run around and explore in. She loves a car ride and to window watch new places.

Sampson and Baby playing

Lace came all the way from Texas to find her forever home. She’s approximately 15 mos old, 45 lbs, and a mix of possibly Vizsla, Rhodesian Ridgeback, and Pit. She has a DNA test pending! She’s spayed and completely up to date on all shots. She is house trained, crate and leash trained, and overall a very good girl. She’s super friendly with all people and dogs, full of energy, food motivated, great at car rides, and even enjoys getting a bath. Lace is very much a lover cuddle bug who would do great in an active home with a big yard and a fur sibling to play with. She was saved in the nick of time from a high kill shelter and so happy to have a second chance to find her forever family soon! What We Do!

We work for the dogs. The shelters in the US are overflowing with pups that need and deserve a second chance. Our goal is to pull as many dogs as we can out of those shelters and give them that second chance! We place pups in foster homes, get them seen by a vet, ensure they are as healthy as can be, and get them adopted into their forever home!!
