Japan Cat Network International is a registered NPO that helps people help pets.

We provide advice, support, materials and other information so that people can assist animals in need within their own community. JCN has helped to start hundreds of trap-neuter and return / rescue efforts throughout Japan. JCN runs two small no-kill shelters; one of which serves as a rescue base in response to the Tohoku disaster. We are committed to educating the public on the benefits of spay-n

euter and we strongly support the no-kill movement. JCN has been featured internationally and on Animal Planet’s Must Love Cats program. Dozens of articles and reports have been produced about JCN’s efforts. Hana Clinic and Ota sensei have helped very needy cats for JCN, during difficult times, as well as for many other groups…Ota sensei has an amazing heart for animal welfare in Japan.❤️ If able, please consider helping the clinic and related rescue org reach their goal, to continue this important life saving work. If not able to pitch in yourself, please share to spread the word. They have only 5 more days to reach the goal.🌟

3 kitties went to homes today, including Lavender and Oliver, our 5 year shelter residents! We thought we would share the transport process. It is always stressful for cats to change territory, but more so for shy cats. As hands off of an approach as possible is best, to reduce negative impact. All 3 are now settling in as well as can be expected. Updates soon!❤️ #保護猫

Dandelion has quickly settled into her new life in Germany!🏡It is a joy to see her thriving there!🙏✨The JCN community on our Facebook group can be an excellent place to find tips and info about pet export from or to Japan.🧳Yes, it can be a stressful day, but we think that the rewards of being with a loved family are worth it.❤️
