Ambleside Dog Walker are recruiting!

Do you love dogs and the great outdoors?
Want a job with good pay and conditions that also fits around your other commitments?

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, fun loving and responsible individual to provide outstanding care and enriching outdoor experiences for our awesome doggy team as our next Canine Care Assistant.

If you’re energetic, committed, reliable and have a clean driving license - with a passion for dogs and a love of being outdoors, then this could be the perfect role for you!

Ambleside Dog Walker is a multi award winning canine adventure company, established in 2019 and providing services across Ambleside, Windermere/Bowness, Grasmere and Hawkshead.

We provide contracted hours, good pay and conditions, a pension scheme, full induction and on going training - and of course a wonderful extended canine family! 🐶

It has been the type of week at ADW that makes you feel full of gratitude -

⛄️ ☀️ for a few days of stunning snowy & sunny weather

🏔️ for living in such an amazing place and working outdoors to appreciate that in all its beauty when it appears

🐶 and after a couple of weeks off, for getting back to spending our days with all the lovely smiling faces, wagging tails and bundles of love that are our Team ADW ❤️

Thanks so much to the amazingly talented team there for looking after us so well, and for filling our bellies with such delicious food 😋

A good job we didn’t have any afternoon treks! Thanks to the lovely clients who swapped treks this week to allow us to take the afternoon to celebrate a fantastic year at ADW with our fabulous team 🐶 ❤️

Lakeland Trails, Wagging Tails!

We are a family run dog walking business based in the heart of the Lake District, offering a comprehensive range of dog care and home boarding services for both local and visiting dogs. We are fully insured, DBS checked and first aid trained and we are licensed with South Lakeland District Council with a 5* rating for day care and dog boarding services in our home.

We’re a husband and wife team who have both owned and loved dogs throughout our lives and are continually amazed by how much having a dog in the family can add to our lives! Unfortunately, we can’t be with our furry friends all the time and we understand just how important it is to feel that the person you choose to leave a member of your family with loves dogs just as much as you do - and that they have the knowledge, experience and skills to care for them as you would.

At Ambleside Dog Walker your dog’s welfare is our top priority. You can leave your dog with us safe in the knowledge that they will be enjoying exercise, stimulation, play and the opportunity to socialise with canine pals. Together with our lovely working cocker spaniel, Jasper, we enjoy exploring the fells, lakes and woodland in our stunning local area and we always tailor walks to the individual needs of the dogs in our care.
