Molly wrapped up her refresher week this morning and his heading home with her family! That muscle memory totally kicked in this week and she breezed through everything I threw at her. We had Cooper (golden) join us for his B&T and he’s getting all settled in and introduced to the pack. And our girl Cricket is back for boarding this week while her family travels.
It’s for all of those that don’t spend every day surrounded by dogs! 🐶😝🩵🐾

Everyone give our girl Molly a big welcome back! Molly went through my ecollar B&T program back in 2020 and has returned for a refresher week. She also brought her new housemate, Macy, along with her so they’re on the same page! Cairo also arrived today for boarding, making it a GSD party! And we’ve got Tucker getting his training reps in and preparing for field trips this weekend, and Clooney tagging along for all the fun!
It’s been a really fun week! Our buddy Merle is back to his normal social schedule and Josie was so happy to see him. Tucker is starting to add in bigger distractions to his training. And our boarding group is having a blast with this well balanced crew!

It’s a yellow lab kind of day! Leo is prepping for his go-home lesson and working hard today. And Tucker joined us for his ecollar program today! He’s the sweetest little guy and I’m having so much fun while he gets settled in.

Go-home day for Tucker! He started the day with a breakfast run at Brick Coffee House and was such a good boy! I’ve been focusing on trust and confidence work with him, as he’s a pretty nervous guy. He’s settled into everything nicely for such young guy, and is going to continue to grow I to his training over the coming months.

SCHEDULE UPDATE:
I will be closed July 6-14. No social days next week. I will begin returning phone calls, messages, and responding to training questionnaires beginning July 15th.
I will also be closed August 1-3.

I worked with Coco way back in 2018, just after Joy came to live with us. Joy was just starting to come into her own and Coco was the first dog she really played with. It’s fun that there are family ties with Coco’s family, so I’ve been able to keep in touch with them over the years! Coco is with us now for boarding and has settled right back in! So excited to have her back with us!

What a fun Saturday! I’ve made two new friends in Max (golden), and Jaxon (border collie) during our private lessons today. Both are very smart boys and will be incredibly fun to continue working with! And the Gertie girl is back from her cross country adventure and is here to play for a few days!

Bella is doing so much better with the other dogs! She is not a social butterfly of a lab, and is not typically comfortable around other dogs. But here she is this morning, initiating play, albeit super awkwardly, with Luke. The last couple days she has really come out of her shell and is trying her best to join in the fun. Another fabulous group of dogs today! Mac began ecollar conditioning. Bella the shepsky is working on recall from play, as well as advanced distractions for her obedience work, and is doing great.
