Go-Home day for little Miss Skye! She’s come a long way and is learning how to make solid choices for a young pup. She took a field trip out to Home Depot with me and tried really hard not to greet every person we passed (social golden problems). Very excited to hear how she’s doing at home over the coming weeks!!

Very proud of this young lady! Skye is working hard and it’s showing. People are her biggest hurdle - because everyone is a long lost friend that she must greet! Especially the children! So not engaging and holding a position is HARD. But look at her go!! 👏🏽👏🏽

Today was a fun day! Skye’s walks have become really smooth. The social group did their thing and enjoyed this beautiful weather we’re having. We had newbie Chip (Aussie) join us for his first social/assessment day which was a great way for me to map out a training plan for him. And check out those eyes!! 👀🩵

Happy Monday! Clooney is back for boarding this week and even though it’s been a couple months since we’ve seen him, he settled right back in like no time had passed! Deedee’s also enjoying a chill day with her besties, and our training girl Skye is working on adding more distraction work into her training.

Sound on 🔊 Oh Clooney! The Clooney boy is A LOT in the social yard. I have to be very selective with his play group. He’s rough, excitable, and doesn’t back off when most dogs tell him to. But he’s been working with me and my pack for a long time now and has a solid group of friends, as well as a short hand with me. “Make good choices” is not something I’d say to most dogs, and is definitely not intended to be a true command here since I know he’ll respect Josie’s boundaries. But the way he actually relaxes when I say made my day!!
