Understanding, recognizing and respecting natural behaviour so we can provide our pets with exactly what they need. Animals provide a huge amount of unbiased love and support so lets properly value that bond when caring for them so its not just our needs that are fulfilled.

Kicking off this Saturday, April 13-28! Enjoy 25% off adoptions to help clear the shelters and make room for more animals in need. Walk-ins are welcome, no appointments needed! For a smoother process, register to adopt prior to coming in. Please note, we have limited adoption rooms and 15-minute time slots for meet and greets with the cat/kitten of your choice. 30 INCOMING KITTENS! 🤯

Wellington – we’re sure you’ve all seen the devastation caused by the recent weather events around the country.

Here in Wellington, we’re about to receive an additional 30 kittens from Hastings as a result of Cyclone Gabrielle. This of course means that our capacity is stretched to the max with so many vulnerable kittens in need of new homes 💔

If you or someone you know has been considering adopting a new furry friend into your family, now is certainly the time. We’re hosting an Adoption Event at our Wellington Centre (140 Alexandra Road, Newtown) this Saturday from 10am-2pm, so please visit and help us find homes for these deserving animals.

Oh I hope the little orca get reunited with her family. Grateful to live in NZ where she is temporarily being cared for and everyone is searching for her pod!

Whale-rescue team member watching over little orca . There are calls going out on social media pages to keep watch for this little one’s family around the Wellington & lower north island region . Hopefully they will be re United. Huge thanks to all those giving their time and energy 💕

We also can help out animal rescues in the local Horowhenua and close by regions. There are birthday packages, schools, rest homes and disability home visits with a selection of Enriched Pets own furry animal family. Just like zoo animals our own pets need daily enrichment. Not quite sure how to achieve this? That is exactly what Enriched Pets is all about.
