Three new FREE guides for cat caregivers are now available! 📚 🐈 Created to help you with the important role you play in caring for your cat, the latest guides focus on providing care for cats that receive long-term pain relief medication with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) for conditions like arthritis.

Our new cat caregiver guides are:

🐾 Increasing water intake
🐾 Treating pain with NSAIDs

Had the best weekend looking after one of my regular client, Peri. He loves to sleep next to me at night, but midnight comes and his food bowl is empty, he kindly lets me know by knocking objects off all the tables and shelves. Such a gentleman.

OK, one last push for my Pet Tag Raffle. Today is Easter Sunday, and there is a war happening on the edge of Europe. Innocent lives destroyed, families uprooted - you know what’s happening because you don’t live on the moon! At the same time, families across across the world have travelled to be with each other, to Sunday roast at the same table, and inspire Easter Bunny magic in their children whilst their pets look on –safe and cosy with a full tummy.

I find it hard to comprehend, don’t you? And sometimes it’s easier to push the reality out of our minds. But let’s not forget what’s happening on our doorstep. If there’s something small you can do, it will make a huge difference. I’m supporting because animals are my family, and it pains me to think that such precious bonds are being broken.

Ok, spiel aside. My giveaway raffle ends tomorrow at midnight. So far, I’ve made 277€, and I’d like to thank everyone who has donated and shown such enthusiasm for the cause. Let’s give it one last push, one last share - and try and gather as many funds as possible for the people and pets of Ukraine.

I’m living with 4 cats this week and here’s what I’ve learnt. All cats are different. Some are a little grumpy, others allusive and mysterious. Some wear their hearts on their sleeve, whilst others set big boundaries. There’s a lot of affection flying round if you know how to read it. It might just be a slow blink, a little chirp when you come close, a “hey, look at my tummy!”, or a not so subtle face to face nudge. Deciphering cat code is a mighty rewarding job to have, but Wendy, Annie Charlie and Dizzy are especially good teachers.

My cat client for the afternoon, Mary. Mary is deaf, so finding ways to rouse her curiosity takes a little imagination. It means rethinking playtime somewhat, as she doesn’t respond to the audible cue of my usual toy teasing. Nevertheless, me and Mary always end up puffed out from feather chasing, tunnel thrashing and straw attacking!
