Long Island Farm Sanctuary (LIFS) is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) charity. After years of trying to find our own home, we have decided to redirect our mission to help similar rescue organizations, shelters and sanctuaries. we are currently not accepting any animals. Rosie, Bear and Millie are receiving proper care in their current home and we will continue to search for land. All donations go directly to other animal rescue organizations, shelters and sanctuaries.

Baby Rosie from January 2020 & current Rosie 🐄❤️. Rosie came to us after being discarded by a farmer for not being able to reproduce or produce milk. We are thankful that her rescuer saved her and that she is now part of our sanctuary family. Happy World Plant Milk Day!
