Snow Day at Muttley’s! ❄️

What a day it’s been! The snow came down thick and fast at Muttley’s Doggy Daycare, and while some of the dogs were a bit confused by the white stuff flying from the sky, most of them had an absolute blast zooming around outside during their quick play sessions.

After the snowy adventures, we retreated to the warmth of our indoor activity centre, where the dogs enjoyed some cosy downtime. They also got a sneak peek at our new winter snug—complete with a wood burner to keep things toasty. While it’s still a work in progress, the dogs were very excited to test out the brand-new sofas being installed today.

Whatever the weather throws at us, Muttley’s is fully set up to keep your favourite family member safe, warm, and comfortable while they have fun with their furry friends.

Today, we welcomed Louis the Cockapoo to the MUTTLEY’S family!

He’s an absolute bundle of energy and wasted no time making new friends. It was a crisp, sunny day here at Home Farm, perfect for fun and frolics in the field as Louis and the gang enjoyed every moment. While winter’s on the way, today was filled with sunshine, fresh air, and lots of tail-wagging fun!

Oh and Amy got a special birthday cake too 😂

🌟 Meet Storm – our newest superstar at MUTTLEY’S Doggy Daycare! 🌟

We’re thrilled to welcome Storm, a wonderful, large, and loving black Labrador who’s already stolen all our hearts. On his first day, he fit right in, making friends with every wag of his tail and adding so much warmth to the field. Storm’s gentle, joyful spirit makes him a pleasure to be around, and we can’t wait for everyone to get to know him better.

This role is about more than just care – it’s a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference within our community. You’ll help create an engaging and enriching environment, providing activities fun, love and care for our dogs. We value diverse experience with dogs, but most importantly, we’re looking for people who bring a sense of responsibility and commitment to delivering the best for our furry friends.

In this role, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene is essential. You’ll need to be proactive, use your own initiative, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Punctuality and reliability are also key to ensuring our dogs receive the best care every day.

The big black Bear and the poodle are ours, obvs 🤷🏼‍♀️ but I couldn’t resist showing off, Spencer’s new haircut and Bear is just so handsome. However the other two beauties are still waiting for their furever homes.

“When the landlord says no dogs… 🐶➡️🐑”

At MUTTLEY’S, we’re all about thinking outside the box! This little “sheep” is here to remind us that life is best enjoyed with a hint of creativity—and a whole lot of paws!

TIP: If you’re navigating the rental market with your pup, here’s a few tricks we’ve picked up:

1. Ask about Pet Clauses – Some landlords may be open to pets with just a bit of negotiation. Explain how your furry friend will be a respectful tenant (maybe show off a few cute photos 😉)

2. References Work – Yes, your dog can have references! Vets, previous landlords, and doggy daycare reports can show that your pup’s well-behaved and house-ready.

3. Pet Rent – Some landlords may allow pets with a small additional fee. It’s worth asking if this is an option.

Did someone say “no more treats,” or did we just interrupt an intense staring contest? Either way, our Northern Inuit duo is bringing all the dramatic vibes today. From epic wolf dog zoomies to expressions that could win an Oscar, there’s never a dull moment with these two!

🌦️ What a day at Muttley’s! 🌈

The weather’s been as unpredictable as ever, switching from sunshine to showers and back again. One moment, we’re all snuggled up under the shelter of the mighty oak trees at the top of the field, keeping dry and cozy, and the next, the rain stops, the sun breaks through, and it’s time for the dogs to run wild and free! 🐾☀️

Today’s highlight? A stunning rainbow that graced the sky while our furry friends enjoyed their playtime in the field. It was a picture-perfect moment that beautifully captured the magic of our 11 acres of countryside. 📸✨

Whether it’s sunny or rainy, our dogs always know how to make the most of their day. It’s these moments of joy and adventure that make Muttley’s so special.

A little bit of peace and serenity muttley style 💜🐺🐾

I shall be starting a mid week small dog socialisation group.Wednesday 10.30 Classes here at the farm in the enclosed paddocks and walks out and about once the dogs are used to one another. It is for small dogs who need socialising and to learn manners around other dogs. It is also for people who feel they need some confidence learning to manage their dog around other dogs. All the small dogs (apart from the black daschund who’s always been amazing but just likes group walks 😻) in the pictures struggled with being around other dogs. With help and understanding this is a problem that can be fixed or managed. If you feel you would rather have a 1:1 get in touch 🐾
