BEHAVIOUR CONSULTATION - Problems with your dog or cat? My practice specialises in referral cases from Vets for all dog and cat behaviour problems ranging from digging, barking, running away, destructive behaviour through to aggression to dogs and aggression to people. Behaviour work is complex and needs proper assessment from an experienced, qualified professional. RECOMMENDED BY VETS - Your Vet will send a referral for your pet to this practice if you have a behaviour problem. INSURANCE CLAIMS TAKEN - I am a Certificated Clinical Animal Behaviourist (CCAB), Full member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC) and registered Animal Behaviour and Training Council Clinical Animal Behaviourist and Animal Training Instructor. This is a register of properly assessed and qualified professionals. Your pet deserves the best. ABOUT ME - I have 20 years of professional experience and use kind, effective positive reward-based methods. Dogs need to trust us, and we don't need to bully them to get what we need to be a good family togegther. I am also a writer about dogs and cats, having written for 13 years for Dogs Today magazine with training and behaviour features, as well as Veterinary Practice Today, Dogs Monthly, Pet Focus, and Pets International among many others, including my weekly column for the Stamford Mercury/Bourne Local! She has written two books with Hamlyn publisher, available on Amazon. She guest lectures on animal behaviour for Anglia Ruskin University. Karen also has a number of high profile clients including presenter Emma Freud and film director Richard Curtis, documentary maker Dawn Porter and actor Chris O'Dowd.
