Just a reminder. Please feel free to set up a Free meeting with me if you are considering hiring or even just to plan ahead for an emergency or unexpected situation.

You are not obliged to book anything in or have to commit to any services at all. This just means I will have all the information I require to help you if this happens.
I am happy to set up regular, temporary or one off services.
I will not walk any dog if I have not ideally met you and your pooch, or at the very least had a phone conversation with you ahead of this to make sure we are on the same page and a suitable match. This is not only for my safety but the safety of your dog as well 😊

Why might someone require the help of a dog walker?
There are many reasons why, our dogs are family to us and we want to provide them with everything they need.
Sometimes things happen, you might get a new job, have your shift pattern change or want to take on some overtime.
You may want to go on a family day out or have a event happening where you would be gone longer than usual.
You may have had an accident or ran into some health issues and may need an extra pair of hands.
Sometimes people are so busy and tired you might just need a day off!

Sadly I have recently had to say my good byes as she crossed the rainbow bridge peacefully in my arms after an illness battle at the age of 12 🌈

I wanted to share this as both personally and professionally I understand the bond we have with our pets, they are family and have a very special place in our hearts 💕

It's important to me, to build up a trusting relationship with any pets and clients that I have the pleasure of working with in the future.

Gentle reminder to cat owners.

If you have read my introduction post you will know that my current full time job is in a local vets as an ACA (also knows as an auxiliary nurse or Animal care assistant)

I absolutley love this role and have picked up alot of useful knowledge and information that I am happy to share when I can.
This is the reason my services are currently available weekends only and will hopefully be able to take the leap in the near future to pursue my services full time 🥰

That being said I would like to also share information with you that will hopefully be helpful for pet owners.
The laws regarding microchipping cats are changing and all cats will be required to be chipped from June 2024.

As well as this being the law and to avoid the possibility of being fined for not having your cat microchipped, it's also extremely useful to help reunite cats that may be lost, stolen or injured with their family as quickly as possible 💕

HOME VISITS for both cats and dogs

15minutes - £7.50
30minutes - £10.50

Discounted prices available if you would like more than one visit in a day.

There are lots of reasons why your dog may not be able to go out for a walk, such as if they are a young pup, elderly dog, poorly or recovering from surgery or even extreme weather conditions. If you will be out for a long period of time then a home visit might be perfect. I can check they are okay and give some attention, let them out in the garden to stretch their legs and go to the toilet, play or snuggle and feed if required.

Equally if you have a cat you would like checking on, to say hello, give some attention if they want it. I can feed them and check that the litter tray is not full.

SOLO DOG WALK

30min - £10.50
45min - £14.50
60min - £18.50
Plus £2 per added dog from the same home.

Solo walks available for those who would not like their dog walked with others. For reactive dogs who are possibly picky who they share their company with! This service will ensure they are walked alone or with their house mate only and have 100% attention on them alone.

PAIR UP WALKS

30min - £8.50 per dog
45min - £12.50 per dog
60min - £15 per dog.

The pair up service is a discounted walk if your dog can be paired with another from another home.
If you have a neighbour, friend or family member who lives close by who would like to join up, I will have the ability to offer walks at a cheaper rate.
This service will also apply if I have two dogs I feel would be lovley together that enjoy the company of other dogs, with permission from the owners of course! This is one of the things we will cover in our introduction meetings so I can understand each dogs personality and the personal preferences of the owners 😊

I have the ability on Saturday & Sundays to help you with your 4 legged babies!

Sometimes weekends can be quite hectic, maybe your working, feeling overwhelmed and need a break or would like to go for a day out with the family.
My aim is to offer a reliable and loving 2nd pair of hands to help you out while caring for your pet as if they where my own ❤
I am happy to set up a regular, occasional or one off service providing we have had our FREE introduction meeting, it's important to have a meet up & chat first to ensure I am fully aware of your needs and expectations and to make sure we are a good fit for each other.
By setting up a meeting you have no obligation to arrange any services but means if your ever in a tough spot or an emergency situation I can assist you if I'm available, there is no harm in being prepared!

Hello everyone!
My name is Nicola and I am very excited to announce I will be starting my own dog walking and home drop in service.
As a lifetime animal lover and owner, my only aim is to provide the best service possible, by developing a professional, trusting and reliable relationship with my clients and pets.
Having owned my own pets, growing up a true horsey girl spending any time I could down the farm, and completing an animal care course in college I knew working with animals would be where I would end up!

As it would happen I landed a role as an Animal care assistant in a local veterinary practice where I have remained for the past 3+ years, the experience and knowledge I have developed in this amazing role over this time I believe has given me the confidence and skill set to venture out on my own.
I will currently be offering my services on weekends only and will be opening up weekdays in the future.
If you could use some help over the weekends I may be able to help you out! I will be offering a FREE introduction meeting and I am happy to set up regular or occasional/one off services. Fully insured.
